Today on 19/10/2024 Saturday, Department of Agadtantra Vyavahar Ayurved Evam Vidhi Vaidyaka, State Model Government Ayurved college, Gandhinagar arranged an educational visit to Indroda nature park - Snake park, Gandhinagar as per NCISM Curriculum for 2nd yr BAMS students.
Students observed live venomous and non venomous snakes like Cobra, Russell's Viper, saw scaled Viper, common Krait, Python, Sand boa, Rat snake etc.
Lecture session was conducted for students by the authority who explained about venomous and non venomous snakes in Gujarat,
signs and symptoms in neurotoxic and haemotoxic snake bite, food and habitat of snakes
How anti snake venom is prepared? some myths regarding snakes etc. Discussion session regarding snakes among students also held.
Visit was highly useful for students.

On 14/10/2024 Monday, Department of Agadtantra, Vyavahar Ayurved Evam Vidhi Vaidyaka, State Model Government Ayurved college Gandhinagar arranged an educational visit of 2nd yr BAMS students at Gujarat Pollution Control Board, Gandhinagar as per NCISM Curriculum.
Students attended the session explaining the function of the institute in the control of water and air pollution and
observed the various instruments and equipments like HPMS, GC, GCMS, Spectrophotometer , XRD etc. used to detect the harmful chemicals, heavy metals, pesticides in the water. Students also visited the laboratory in the institute to know it's function etc.
Visit was highly useful for the students.

On 31/08/2024, an NLH activity was conducted for 2nd year students as a part of their agadtantra syllabus. Identification of various poisonous and non-poisonous snakes was taught in the class earlier and based on that a brainstorming quiz was conducted. Students actively participated and small rewards were also presented to students who scored the right identification of snakes.

The court visit was done on dated 06/08/2024-08/08/2024 for second year students of SMIAS. District Court, Gandhinagar premises were visited, and the officers were cooperative. Students were exposed to legal procedures in a better way, and they visualized detailed court procedures. Later, a class was conducted by legal officers after the court session for our students, which was very informative and knowledge filling.

Dated on 11/09/2024, a survey and presentation was conducted by 2nd year Students of SMIAS on the topic " survey on commonly used cosmetic products and their illefffects." It was conducted under the guidance of department of agadtantra. The population group of survey was of hostel inmates of both girls and boys hostel. Major cosmetic products covered in the survey were commonly used soaps, shampoos, decorative and care cosmetics, hair dyes, deodrants and toothpaste. Ayurvedic concept of cosmetic toxicity was also summarised. Report was presented in the form of a presentation in class.students got proper idea about the harmful effects of cosmetic products and how ayurveda alternatives can be effectively used as a substitute for them.

As a part of World Health Day under the theme * "My Health, My Right",* Students of Second Year made poster presentation . Various topics were given to different groups, and posters were presented in class with proper explanation. Topics included- awareness regarding addiction to drugs, digital addiction, pollution, cancer, viruddhaahar, etc.The activity was done under the supervision of the Department of Agadtantra. Dr. Sharda More , Reader, and Dr. Aiswarya K , Lecturer, were present during the program held on 13/04/2024, Saturday.

A humble attempt was done by 2nd year Agadtantra students by performing *Inquest and Legal procedures* in the form of drama along with mock court representation, as a part of NCISM syllabus activity.
