A comprehensive training session was organized by the District Project Management Unit (D.P.M.U.)-Gandhinagar at FTC Center, Sector 15, Gandhinagar, focusing on "Public Disclosure Of Ground Water Information and reports .participants participated, alongside representatives from various line Departments, including GGRC, DRDA, WALMI ,ATMA and Farmer , who shared their insights. The training was inaugurated by the Shri.D.V.Gosai, Nodal officer DPMU Gandhinagar . The session included practical demonstrations, where farmers tested their water samples using a Mobile Testing Van. Agriculture Expert Mr. Vaibhav Dadhaniya , Associate Hydrogeologist Dr. Hemashri Thacker , IEC Expert Mr. Gaurav Patel all the DPMU Expert present PPT Lecture. A representative from GGRC, Mr. Chirag Patel spoke on the advantages of adopting micro-irrigation practices. WALMI Executive Engineer Mr. Deepak Girwani also attended the training. Atal Jal

On dated 08/01/2025, an overall World Bank review meeting on Atal Jal in Gujarat was held at GWRDC, Gandhinagar, chaired by Shri Pratul Saxena, Project Director (Atal Jal), NPMU.
Shri Satya Priya, World Bank Task Team Leader, Shri Jitesh Tatiwal, Deputy Director, NPMU, and Shri P.C. Kumawat, Agriculture Expert from NTSA, NPMU, New Delhi, participated in the meeting.
Shri R.M. Patel, Project Director of SPMU Atal Jal and MD of GWRDC, along with Shri Pinakin V. Vyas, SE of SPMU, Atal Jal, extended a warm welcome to all attendees.
Senior officers from GWRDC, Agriculture & Horticulture Department, WRD, GGRC, WALMI, and all SPMU experts participated.

Today (Date:18-10-2024) State Level Training on “Sahi Fasal” inaugurated at Convention hall, North Gujarat University, Patan with Jalapurti in Jal Kalash by Shri K S Patel, Joint Director of Agriculture, Mahesana, Mr. Kamlesh Kumar Jangid, Team Lead - Consultant, BWUE, NWM, DoWR, RD & GR, MoJS, Shri D M Menat, Dy. Dir of Agriculture, FTC, Patan, DAOs and DDA(Training) of FTCs Banaskantha, Patan and Kachchh Districts , Shri V C Bhavsar, Nodal Officer, DPMU, Patan, Senior Scientists from KVK and SDAU and IEC Expert, SPMU.

150 Farmers from Kachchh, Patan and Banaskantha Districts under Atal Jal and 100 Officers/ Experts/Scientist/ Staff from Agriculture Department, SPMU, DPMU, DIPs, GWRDC participated in the Workshop.

Concept, aims & objectives of the Workshop was explained by Shri Kamlesh Kumar Jangid.
Different relevant topics were presented by speakers from SPMU, DPMU, State Agriculture Universities and KVK.
Progressive farmers shared their experience on optimal use of irrigation water through micro irrigation/alternate furrow irrigation and rain water harvesting.
More than 100 water samples brought by farmers were analysed through Mobile Van sent by Geo-Hydrologist, Kherva. During valedictory session water sample analysis reports distributed to farmers.

At the last, question-answer session was very interesting.
Overall program was monitored by Shri D M Menat, Dy. Director of Agriculture (Training) with his dedicated team of 3 FTCs and DAOs office along with ATMA.

On October 1, 2024, Block Level Training on "Efficient Water Use Practices in Agriculture" was conducted at Dudh Dairy Hall, GP Dhota, Vadgam, with 69 participants from various GPs, along with DPMU and DIP staff.
Associate Hydrogeologist presented insights on aquifer systems and water management tools.
Agricultural Expert discussed innovative methods to improve crop yield using limited water and organic farming techniques.
IEC Expert highlighted the significance of community connections in sustaining water resources.
Overall, the program effectively promoted efficient water use practices.

A field visit to the Pimplaj and Pidhardha GPs in Gandhinagar Taluka was conducted on 01/10/2024 to assess the status of various instruments installed under the Atal Bhujal Yojana. The visit included the participation of the SE SPMU, SE GWM, Executive Engineer, and DPMU experts.
