On 31st October, 2022, as a part of Swachhata Campaign 2.0, a special outdoor cleanliness drive was conducted in 3 acres of Ramleela Maidan, Gandhidham, in which 70 No. of Officers and Staff participated and cleaned up garbage was collected in 80 environmentally bags for disposal.

हिन्दी दिवस के सुअवसर पर केंद्रीय वस्तु एवं सेवा कर, कच्छ आयुक्तालय गांधीधाम द्वारा हिन्दी पखवाड़ा (दिनांक 14-09-2022 से 28-09-2022) मनाया जा रहा है, इसके उपलक्ष्य में हमारे आयुक्तालय में हिन्दी राजभाषा समेलन का आयोजन दिनांक 26 सितम्बर 2022 को पूर्वाह्न 11:30 बजे को चेंबर्स ऑफ कॉमर्स, गांधीधाम में किया गया I उपरोक्त सम्मेलन में, सभी विभागीय अधिकारी एवं कार्मिकों, स्थानीय जनप्रतिनिधि, मीडिया, व्यापारिक समूहों और करदाताओं को सहभागी होने के लिए आमंत्रित किया गया I
सम्मेलन में, माननीय आयुक्त महोदय श्री पी. आनंद कुमार (भा रा से), श्री आर के चन्दन (भा रा से), आयुक्त (यथास्थान), श्री श्रीराम विश्नोई (भा रा से), संयुक्त आयुक्त, श्री मनीष कुमार मीना (भा रा से), संयुक्त आयुक्त, श्री नवनीत आर गज्जर, अध्यक्ष, कांडला टिंबर असोशिएशन, श्री आदिल सेठना, उपाध्यक्ष, गांधीधाम चेम्बर ऑफ कॉमर्स एवं श्री हेमचन्द्र यादव, उपाध्यक्ष, कांडला टिंबर असोशिएशन आदि ने हिन्दी भाषा की महत्ता एवं उसके दैनिक प्रयोग को बढाने पर बल दिया I

इस अवसर पर कवि सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें मैडम रानी कुकसाल, वरिष्ठ लिपिक, दीनदायल पत्तन प्राधिकरण, गांधीधाम – श्री नरेश सोनीवार, हिन्दी अनुवादक, दीप भवन, गांधीधाम एवं डॉक्टर जिया शहानी, चिकित्सा विभाग, दीनदायल पत्तन प्राधिकरण, गांधीधाम को आमंत्रित किया गया I इन कवियों ने स्वरचित हिन्दी रचनाओं से कार्यक्रम की शोभा बढ़ाई एवं हिन्दी की महत्ता एवं उसके महत्तम उपयोग पर बल दिया I
सम्मेलन में, हिन्दी पखवाड़े के अंतर्गत आयुक्तलय में आयोजित विभिन्न हिन्दी प्रतियोगिताओं के विजेताओं को प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान किए एवं आमंत्रित कवियों को स्मृति-चिन्ह प्रदान किए गए I

CGST Kutch (Gandhidham) arranged an interactive session in association with Federation of Kutch Industries Associations (FOKIA), Kutch Chamber of Commerce & Industries and Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Bhuj, to aware about the recent changes and trade friendly measures in GST at the Auditorium of Government Engineering College, Bhuj on 17th September 2022.

The programme was organized in the gracious presence of Dr. Nimaben Acharya, Hon’ble speaker of Gujarat Legislative Assembly, Gujarat, Shri Vinod Chavda, Hon’ble Member of the Parliament (Lok Sabha), Kutch, Shri Ghanshyam Thakker, Mayor, Bhuj and Shri P. Anand Kumar, IRS, Commissioner, CGST, Kutch. More than 300 no. of representatives of Trade & Industry actively participated in the programme. On this occasion, the key features of the GST and recent changes therein were explained through Power Point Presentation followed by Question & Answer session.

CGST Kutch (Gandhidham) organised an interactive session on awareness about the recent changes and trade friendly measures in GST, in association with Federation of Kutch Industries Associations (FOKIA), Kutch Chamber of Commerce & Industries and Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Bhuj at the Auditorium, Government Engineering College, Bhuj on 17th September 2022.

2. The Chief Guest of the programme is Dr. Nimaben Acharya Ji, Hon’ble speaker, first Woman Speaker of Gujarat Legislative Assembly, Gujarat, Guests of Honour are Shri Vinod Chavda Ji, Hon’ble Member of the Parliament (Lok Sabha), Kutch, Worshipful Mayor of Bhuj Shri Ghanshyam Thakker, and Key note speaker is Shri P. Anand Kumar, IRS, Commissioner, CGST, Kutch. More than 300 representatives of Trade & Industry actively participated in the programme.

3. Issues related to GST on items like milk, dal, aata and retail grocery items were explained, to the retail traders and other members of general public, along with another trade friendly measure of extending E-invoicing facility to Rs.10 crores and above turnover etc.

A badminton league was organized on 09.04.2022 by YMCA, Kutch, Gandhidham. The officers of CGST Kutch (Gandhidham) participated in YMCA Badminton League at Gandhidham. Team of CGST Kutch won first prize in the league. The team consisted of following officers:

(i) Shri Jivendra Singh, Superintendent (CGST Anjar-Bhachau Division)
(ii) Shri Shailesh Kadian, Inspector (CGST Mundra Division)

Commissioner, CGST Kutch congratulated the officers on their achievement.

CGST Kutch (Gandhidham) Commissionerate has achieved the highest ever revenue of ₹ 2295.30 Crore for the financial year 2021-22, ₹ 372.79 Crore more than 2020-21 revenue of ₹ 1922. 61 Crore, despite passing through second and third waves of COVID-19. In March 2022, CGST Kutch Commissionerate could collect highest ever March Month revenue of ₹ 215.24 Crore, nearly ₹ 30 Crore more than March 2021 revenue of ₹ 185.90 Crore.
P. Anand Kumar, I.R.S., Commissioner, has congratulated his team for achieving this feat of highest ever revenue of the CGST Commissionerate, Kutch (Gandhidham) in its more than 7 years of existence.

A special outreach programme was organized by CGST Commissionerate, Kutch (Gandhidham) at Timber Bhavan, Gandhidham on 19.03.2022 for all the stakeholders (Exporters/Taxpayers/Others) based at Kutch to address the problems related to technical glitches being faced by the trade and industry.
