Srinagar Sep 08 : Senior Leader Haji Faiz Ahmad Bhat Tuesday paid rich tribute to Sher-e- Kashmir Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah on his 44th death anniversary.

He said Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah’s struggle is an open book and he will always be remembered as a leader, teacher, guide friend and philosopher for his contributions.

“Be it the land to the Tiller, Free Education, setting up of universities in Jammu and Kashmir, laying of infrastructure for roads, hospitals. There is no parallel in the world to such contributions from a leader towards his People,” he said.

Gulabbagh April 20 : Senior Leader Haji Faiz Ahmad Bhat has extended greetings to the people on Eid Al Fitar.

In his message Haji Faiz sais As the Muslim Umah unite to observe Eid Al Fitar, it is imperative for all of us to prioritize the poor and deserving by doing everything possible to bring smiles on their faces.”

“The auspicious day of the Eid Al Fitar stresses on the need for equality of mankind, god consciousness, generosity, almsgiving and peaceful coexistence of the entire human kind.” he added.

Faiz said that the occasions like Eid should invite us to think about happiness and welfare of those who cannot afford the necessities of life or who have become victims of fate due to different reasons.

Haji Faiz Ahmad Bhat Strongly and unequivocally condemn the shocking firing incident near Royal Park, Greater Kailash, Jammu during a wedding function attended by Dr. Farooq Abdullah Sahib and Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary Sahib. Such brazen acts of violence are utterly unacceptable.
I am relieved that Dr. Farooq Abdullah sahib is safe and pray for the speedy recovery of Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary sahib.
I urge the authorities to conduct a swift, thorough and transparent investigation, uncover the roots of this incident and take the strongest possible action against those responsible.
