DC Faridabad Deputy Commissioner Faridabad is the key government institution responsible for delivery of good governance in the District Faridabad.

Faridabad is about 25 Kilometers from Delhi in 28o 25' 16" North Latitude and 77o 18' 28" East Longitude. It is bounded by Union Territory of Delhi (National Capital) on its north, Palwal District in the south, Gurgaon District on the west and State of Utter Pradesh on its east. The river Yamuna separate the District Boundary on eastern side with UP State. Delhi-Agra National Highway No.2 (Shershah Suri Marg) passes through centre of District. Faridabad comes under the Faridabad Division of Haryana. Haryana is divided in Six Divisions. Each Division is headed by Divisional commissioner. The Deputy Commissioner is the administrative head of District. The Faridabad is divided into three Sub Divisions and each Sub Division is headed by Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM). The district has 116 Gram Panchayats, 2 Block/Panchayat Samitis and a Zila Parishad located in 2 Community Development Blocks. It has 192 revenue villages located in 3 tehsils and 5 sub tehsils. It has one Parliamentary seat (10-Faridabad) and six state legislative assembly seats (85-Prithla, 86-Faridabad NIT, 87-Badkhal, 88-Ballabgarh, 89-Faridabad and 90-Tigaon).

📢 EOI Invited for Survey-Based Demarcation of Disputed Licensed Land in Durga Builder Colony

| The District Town Planner (Planning), Faridabad, has invited an Expression of Interest (EOI) and quotations from experienced survey agencies/firms for survey-based demarcation of 234.674 acres of disputed licensed colony land in Durga Builder Colony.

📍 Phase-I: 126.725 acres
📍 Phase-II: 107.95 acres

The exercise is proposed in compliance with the interim orders dated April 25, 2025, passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the matter concerning Okhla Enclave Plot Holder Welfare Association vs. Union of India.

🗓️ Interested agencies/firms may submit their EOI and quotations within 15 days from the date of publication of the public notice at the office of the District Town Planner (Planning), Faridabad.

| Samadhan Shivir: A Platform for Prompt Resolution of Public Grievances

The Samadhan Shivir is emerging as an effective platform for addressing citizens’ concerns. At the district-level Samadhan Shivir held at the Mini Secretariat, Sector-12, Faridabad, CTM Shri Ankit Kumar heard citizens’ grievances and directed the concerned departments to ensure prompt action.

16 complaints were received today, covering issues related to Family ID, Ration Cards, Electricity, Police, Labour, Revenue, Municipal Corporation, and other departments.

| No Laxity in Security of EVM-VVPAT Warehouse: DC Ayush Sinha

Deputy Commissioner Shri Ayush Sinha inspected the EVM-VVPAT Warehouse at the Sports Complex, Sector-12, Faridabad, and reviewed security arrangements, CCTV surveillance, fire safety equipment, cleanliness, and other essential facilities.

He directed officials to strictly follow all security standards prescribed by the Election Commission of India and ensure that all CCTV cameras remain operational at all times.

The DC made it clear that any negligence in the security of EVM-VVPAT machines will not be tolerated. Regular reviews and immediate corrective measures were also directed to ensure foolproof security.
