Purba Midnapore district is a hub of heritage handicrafts like Patachitra of pingla , Madurkathi shilpa of Pataspur, Bell metal items of Kalyanpur & Gala putul of Midnapore.

And , Kalyanpur a sleepy hamlet just adjacent to Panchetgarh is the hub of Bell metal village industry. In this village every household is involved in this trade.

Therefore , we see a large number of Bell metal stalls in Panchetgarh Rash mela grounds every year.
