A Primary Fire Fighting & Fire Safety Training Programme was conducted at CISF 3rd Reserve Battalion for 105 personnel, including personnel detailed for the BRICS Summit-Delhi.

ASI/Fire P.K. Verma and team from CISF Fire Service, NSPCL Bhilai, provided vital inputs on fire prevention, safety precautions and effective emergency response.

Sanrakshika, Wives Welfare Association, signed an MoU with Drishti IAS in the presence of Shri Praveer Ranjan, DG/CISF, senior officers and Sanrakshika members, to provide concessional coaching through the premier institute for Civil Services and other competitive examinations to spouses and wards of serving and retired CISF personnel, including families of martyrs and personnel who died in harness.

The MoU was exchanged between Dr. Vikas Divyakirti, Founder & Managing Director, Drishti Group and Smt. Manjula Hazarika Gogoi, Secretary, Sanrakshika.

Drishti IAS offers coaching for UPSC Civil Services, Judiciary, State PCS, Teaching Examinations and CUET in Hindi and English. The concessions will be applicable to new enrolments from Academic Year 2026–27 to 2028–29.

Dr. Vikas Divyakirti, Founder & Managing Director, Drishti Group, said that the partnership would support the educational aspirations of CISF families by providing them greater access to quality guidance and competitive examination preparation.

DG/CISF expressed his gratitude to Dr. Vikas Divyakirti for extending this support to CISF families and appreciated Sanrakshika’s sustained efforts towards strengthening educational and welfare opportunities for its beneficiaries.

Further as part of its welfare initiatives, Sanrakshika, distributed wheelchairs to families of CISF personnel having Divyang wards, with the objective of supporting their mobility, independence and dignity.

Speaking on the occasion, DG/CISF appreciated Sanrakshika’s initiatives towards the welfare and empowerment of CISF families. He emphasised the importance of continuing such initiatives and taking them forward in the future.

The initiative reflects Sanrakshika’s continued commitment to promoting inclusion, dignity and support through meaningful welfare measures.

A Fire Extinguisher Awareness & Practical Demonstration Class was conducted by Shri Vinod Chauhan, Safety Officer, NTPC Talaipalli, at Unit NTPC Talaipalli CMP.

The session focused on awareness of different types of fire extinguishers, their appropriate applications, and safe operating procedures. A practical demonstration further enhanced personnel’s preparedness to respond effectively during fire emergencies.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 | 𝗖𝗜𝗦𝗙 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗡𝗙𝗟 𝗩𝗶𝗷𝗮𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗿

A State Police Level Mock Drill was conducted at NFL Plant Main Gate, Vijaipur, simulating a labour gherao/protest and vandalism scenario by anti-social elements.

The exercise focused on rapid response, crowd control, access control, protection of vital installations and inter-agency coordination, with active participation of CISF, Local Police, NFL Management and medical teams.

The successful drill further strengthened joint preparedness, operational coordination and response capabilities of all stakeholders.

As part of the three-day nationwide campaign for National Sports Day (NSD)-2026, Units WCL Chhindwara, NTPC Khargone and NFL Vijaipur organised a series of sporting activities, including Cycle Rallies, Marathon, Cricket and Volleyball Matches with enthusiastic participation of CISF personnel.

The events showcased sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork and camaraderie, while promoting physical fitness, a healthy lifestyle and a spirit of excellence among the participants. The Volleyball match between the CISF and NTPC teams at Khargone further strengthened mutual bonding and team spirit.

National Sports Day was celebrated at Akashnagar Hill Camp, CISF Unit BIOM Bacheli, with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. CISF personnel participated actively in various sporting activities, reflecting discipline, fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork and camaraderie—the core values that strengthen the Force.

Raksha Bandhan was celebrated with warmth and enthusiasm by Sanrakshika, Unit BIOM Bacheli–BIOM Kirandul. Sanrakshika members lovingly tied Rakhis on the wrists of jawans, symbolising affection, brotherhood, care and mutual respect.

The celebration created a warm, family-like atmosphere for personnel serving away from their families and strengthened the spirit of camaraderie, togetherness and mutual bonding within the CISF family. 🇮🇳
