📢 Public Outreach Programme / Block Diwas at Bhagwah Wednesday 13-05-2026.

The District Administration Doda has scheduled a Public Outreach Programme (Block Diwas) at Headquarters Bhagwah, Block Bhagwah on 13 May 2026 (Wednesday) from 12:00 Noon.

Residents of Block Bhagwah and adjoining areas are encouraged to participate actively and avail the opportunity for direct interaction with the District Administration for redressal of grievances and awareness regarding various government schemes and welfare initiatives.

Several departments, including Agriculture, Industries & Commerce, Handicrafts, Social Welfare, Mission YUVA and J&K Bank, will establish information stalls for the benefit of the general public.

*CMO Doda Inaugurates Truenat Machine Dedicated to PHC Bhagwah*

Doda, April 29, 2026:

In a significant development aimed at strengthening healthcare facilities in the remote areas of the district, the Chief Medical Officer Doda, Dr. Tanveer Ahmed Rather, today inaugurated a Truenat Machine dedicated to PHC Bhagwah.

With the installation of the machine, TB tests will now be conducted at PHC Bhagwah, providing timely diagnostic services to the people of Bhagwah and adjoining areas.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Tanveer Ahmed Rather said that the Health Department remains committed to upgrading healthcare infrastructure and ensuring better medical facilities for the public, especially in far-flung and underserved areas. He emphasized that the addition of the Truenat Machine would greatly benefit the local population and strengthen healthcare delivery services.

District Epidemiologist Mr Umar Anayat, Mr. Mashhood Latif, BM&EO Ghat, besides the staff of PHC Bhagwah, were also present on the occasion.

The staff of PHC Bhagwah and local residents expressed gratitude to the Chief Medical Officer and the Health Department for this valuable initiative.

The inauguration reflects the continued efforts of the Health Department Doda towards modernization and strengthening of healthcare institutions across the district.
