The Handloom Development Department, Doda invites applications from eligible weavers and artisans under the following welfare and financial assistance schemes:
1. Credit Card Scheme: Loan assistance up to ₹1.80 lakh with 7% interest subvention available to eligible beneficiaries.
2. Pradhan Mantri Weavers' Mudra Yojana (PMWMY)
Loan assistance up to ₹1.90 lakh with 6% bank interest subsidy & Margin Money Assistance of ₹10,000 provided by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
3. Education Scholarship Scheme: Scholarship for the children of registered weavers and artisans, subject to the scheme guidelines.
4. Formation of Cooperative Societies: Financial assistance of ₹50,000 for the formation of eligible cooperative societies.
Eligible beneficiaries are requested to submit their applications along with the prescribed documents to this office.
