On 15th January 2026, the BHD Head Doda, Sh Ashraf Pervaz, JKAS (ACR Doda)chaired a meeting of BHD Doda attended by all BHD members and the concerned bank branches. During the meeting, the performance and progress of the bank branches were reviewed, and necessary directions were issued to ensure the timely and quality disposal of cases pending at the branch level.
The BHD Lead Doda was also directed to prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for new applications in consultation with the concerned banks and to ensure that all new cases are scrutinized at the initial stage with regard to viability and other prescribed parameters.

*Eligibility Criteria*
1. Age between 21 to 45 years as on the date of notification.
2. Applicant must be a domicile of Jammu & Kashmir.
3. Candidates must possess a graduate degree of at least three years duration with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).The qualifying degree must be in one of the following disciplines- _Business Administration, Management, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Chartered Accountant (CA) issued by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA/ICWA)_ issued by Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI).
4. Full-time, paid, post-qualification work experience in areas such as entrepreneurship development, MSME promotion, startup incubation, livelihoods, market linkage, skill development, or program management in the development or government sector.

The District Employment and Counselling Centre (DECC), Doda* today organized the Mission YUVA – Beyond Sanctions Campaign (YUVA Chaupal) at ITI Bhaderwah, marking the launch of a structured district-level outreach initiative aimed at strengthening post-credit support and providing enterprise handholding to Mission YUVA beneficiaries.

During the YUVA Chaupal, applicants were sensitized about Mission YUVA’s comprehensive support framework, including scheme components, expectation setting, capacity-building opportunities, output monitoring, and grievance redressal mechanisms.

Help Desk Day under Mission YUVA Organized across District Doda

Doda, September 22, 2025: In compliance with the directives of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, Help Desk Day (HDD) was observed under Mission YUVA at all Sub-Divisional headquarters across District Doda.

The central program was held at the District Headquarters under the chairmanship of ACR Doda, Sh. Ashraf Parvaiz, JKAS. On this occasion, the Deputy Director Employment Doda, Mr. Rafiq Ahmad Jaral, JKAS, presented a succinct exposition on the vision, objectives, and manifold benefits of Mission YUVA, a scheme crafted to galvanize entrepreneurship and empower aspirants throughout the Union Territory.

Simultaneous events were convened at ADC Office Bhaderwah, SDM Office Assar, Gandoh, and Thathri, where Sh. Sunil Bhutyal, JKAS; Sh. Ashok Singh Katoch, JKAS; Sh. Arun Badyal, JKAS; and Sh. Sheetal Sharma, JKAS respectively presided over the proceedings. Officers at these venues heard public grievances and ensured expeditious redressal.

Across all locations, nearly sixty submissions were recorded, chiefly relating to DPR preparation, sanction/disbursement at the banking echelon, and other queries under Mission YUVA. Participants were sensitized and apprised of the scheme’s role in catalyzing transformation in the lives of emerging entrepreneurs through its diverse components. Notably, about 500 citizens attended these events, reflecting strong community engagement and growing public interest in the programme.

These events were organized under the aegis and guidance of District Development Commissioner Doda, Sh. Harvinder Singh, IAS, and Mission Director Mission YUVA, Sh. Shahzad Alam, IAS.

Alongside the administrative leadership, members of the Business Help Desk (BHD), officials from the Agriculture Department, and representatives of J&K Bank also marked their presence.

The Help Desk Day formed a pivotal component of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada 2025, which is slated to culminate on October 2, 2025, signifying a noteworthy stride in public engagement, grievance resolution, and entrepreneurial empowerment.

Udhyam Jagriti 4.0 Sessions Organised at ITI Doda and Government Colleges under Mission YUVA

Doda, Sept 18: Udhyam Jagriti 4.0 session was today organised at the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Doda as part of Mission YUVA, a flagship initiative aimed at empowering the youth through skill development, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

The awareness session was delivered by Rafiq Ahmad Jaral (JKAS), Deputy Director, Doda, who gave a detailed address to the students on the significance of entrepreneurship and the various opportunities available under Mission YUVA. He motivated the participants to channel their talent and creativity towards nation-building and to emerge as job creators rather than job seekers.

The programme was hosted by Er. Naresh Singh, Superintendent ITI Doda, and was attended by the faculty members of the institute. Around 130 students actively participated in the event and interacted enthusiastically with the resource person.

Earlier, the students were also sensitized about the objectives of Mission YUVA, which seeks to harness the potential of young people by equipping them with relevant skills, fostering innovation, and enabling them to contribute effectively to society and the economy.

The event concluded with an interactive session where students raised queries regarding entrepreneurship, start-ups, and skill development opportunities, which were addressed in detail by the Deputy Director.

Importantly, the entire programme is being organised under the directions of Director Employment, Sh. Shahzad Alam (IAS), who has envisioned Mission YUVA as a comprehensive platform to engage and empower the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.

In addition to ITI Doda, similar Udhyam Jagriti awareness programmes were conducted across government colleges and polytechnics of the district, where the Nodal Officers of Udhyam Jagriti delivered lectures on Mission YUVA and entrepreneurship. A total of 350 students participated in these sessions.

Furthermore, Self Help Group (SHG) women were also engaged under the initiative, with 160 participants from various blocks and panchayats attending awareness programmes conducted by Block Project Managers (BPMs).

These combined efforts reflect the district’s commitment towards nurturing entrepreneurship, strengthening youth engagement, and promoting women empowerment through Mission YUVA. The programmes are also part of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada, being celebrated across Jammu and Kashmir with active public participation.

Training-Cum-Orientation Programme for Yuva DOOTs Concludes at Doda

Doda, April 19: A day-long training-cum-orientation programme for Yuva DOOTs under Mission YUVA successfully concluded today at MCC hall of District Employment and Counselling Centre, Doda.

The programme aimed at capacity building of the Yuva DOOTs to empower them with the skills and knowledge required to support and motivate potential entrepreneurs at the grassroots level. These trained youth volunteers will serve as key motivators within their respective panchayats to promote self-employment and entrepreneurship among the local youth.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Doda, Anil Kumar Thakur, presided over the event as the chief guest. In his address, he emphasized the importance of youth empowerment and the pivotal role Yuva DOOTs can play in fostering entrepreneurship at the village level.

During the training, participants received comprehensive guidance on their roles and responsibilities, including awareness generation, beneficiary mobilization, and facilitation of government self-employment schemes.

The training session emphasized the importance of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for monitoring the effectiveness of the initiative, ensuring that the Yuva DOOTs remain result-oriented in their approach.

At the outset, AD Employment Doda presented detailed insights from the baseline survey conducted earlier to identify youth with entrepreneurial potential. The session helped Yuva DOOTs understand the scope of their intervention and align their efforts accordingly.

The training also included interactive sessions, allowing Yuva DOOTs to engage in discussions, seek clarifications, and contribute valuable suggestions.

Resource persons from NABARD, JK Bank and Employment Officer from DE&CC Doda delivered sector-specific guidance through PowerPoint presentations and live demonstrations of the Mission YUVA App/Portal, ensuring hands-on familiarity with digital tools and platforms associated with the mission
