Fortunate enough to get the opportunity to journey along with our beloved, charismatic, people’s Chief Minister, the one and only the honourable Himanta Biswa Sarma . We had a progressive discussions over establishment and recognition of our rich heritage, cultures, traditions precisely Borduwa Than, Bihu, Sattriya Dance, Nam Pracanga at the United Nations Bodies. We had also discuss on Sign Language, Animal welfare, Implementation of Assamese language and Assam made products in every possible transport mediums , etc. I really astonished to see his depth of dedication and soulful thrust to make a developed, progressive, and peaceful Assam. I express my heartiest gratitude for listening me and bearing me at the journey. 🙏

Technical assistance and capacity-building.

Mr President,
We welcome Human Rights Council resolution 54/36, outlines the activities and achievements of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in assisting the Government and the people of Cambodia in the promotion and protection of human rights. On the other hand, Assam is rich in terms of ethnic diversity of every form. Be it culture, tradition or language. In the fast-growing world these specialities need to be preserved in well decorated manner. For instance, Assamese language, the lingua franca of entire north east india should be in Unicode for a safe future. It can then have a great presence on the internet. Infrastructural advancement is a most basic need in 21st century for rapid growth and sustainable development. We appreciate the Chief Minister of Assam for his initiatives in fast infrastructure building with a clear motive and objectives. The Bordowa than in Nagaon district needs to be preserved in a scientific manner. For its amazing history and characteristics, it can be a candidate for UNESCO world heritage site. I urge the council to take a purpose-oriented technical assistance to preserved and promoted globally for greater recognition, promotion, and protection.
