Why I am begging all the time ??
No, we are not begging for sympathy — we are seeking support for education.
Many people, even from my own circle, have said things like,
“Why ask for donations publicly? It looks like begging.”
And honestly, I am at peace with that.
Because if "begging" helps a child from a slum and coal mines get educated,
I’ll proudly do it — every single day.
When we started Pathshala Educational Trust eleven years ago, it wasn’t a grand plan.
It began teaching children from labour families in small community batches.
We had no big funds, no donors — just our own savings and a simple vision:
“Education must not stop, no matter what.”
Soon, what started with 50 children became a movement of thousands from nearby slum areas who wanted to learn.
And when funds ran short, we didn’t quit — we reached out to friends, families, and strangers.
Some called it begging; we call it believing.
We borrowed when needed, appealed when required —
but we never stopped teaching.
Even today, hundreds of children wait outside our learning centres — not for food,
but for knowledge that nourishes their future.
Because we come from India, where we believe in Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam —
the world is one family.
And in this family, no child should be left uneducated.
If you ever wonder why we ask for support so passionately,
remember — we are not asking for ourselves.
We are asking for the dreams of children who still believe education can change their lives.
We are currently short by ₹2 lakhs to continue our month’s education programs,
but with your help, we are confident these classrooms will stay open, bright, and full of hope.
Your support keeps a child’s dream alive.
