MakerWala students in the Indian government schools are self-motivated and specially empowered to create and maintain hands-on learning opportunities for their peers, juniors and seniors. MakerWala students build maintain, and repair low-cost apparatus and models to support hands-on connected learning. Then, they coordinate with the science teachers to organize and facilitate hands-on science acti

vities in the classrooms; they basically act as (unpaid) teaching aides-cum-technicians, making constructionist learning possible --- even in the schools with the least resources!
