Today Ambassador Ono hosted a ceremony to felicitate Ms. Ajanuo Belho, Leader of the Kohima Japanese Bone Collection, on receiving the Decoration of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays.
Ms. Ajanuo Belho was decorated with the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays, in recognition of her outstanding contribution in the recovery of remains of the war dead, consolation missions and promoting friendly relationship between Japan and India.

Ambassador Ono is delighted to deliver a video message at India-Japan International Exchnage Symposium 2026 by Japan Transport and Tourism Research Institute. 🇯🇵🇮🇳🚉

DCM Ariyoshi also participated in a panel discussion at the symposium.

This event offered a valuable opportunity to deepen discussions on future 🇯🇵🇮🇳 cooperation through tourism and people-to-people exchanges.🤝
