The Association for Democratic Socialism - ADS The Association for Democratic Socialism (ADS) aims at the establishment of an egalitarian society where the economic and social privileges of individuals.

The ADS seeks:
To promote the basic principles of democratic socialism viz, freedom, democracy, equality, justice and solidarity. To analyse in the Indian context, a conceptual framework of democratic socialism with reference to public policies. To promote studies of socio-economic problems in a democratic socialist perspective. To promote understanding of democratic socialist principles among p

olitical and trade union workers, farmers and co-operators, academic and professional groups, women and youth organizations and students. To promote the establishment of an egalitarian society. However, the ADS will maintain an identity independent of, and distinct from, political parties, including those that subscribe in one degree or another democratic socialism. It will remain an independent organization which will undertake studies, research and discussions to pursue the aims and objectives of the ADS.
