HIL (India) Limited Signs Technology Transfer Agreement with Agrinnovate India Ltd. for Trichoderma viride 1.5% WP Technology
New Delhi, February 04, 2026:
HIL (India) Limited has signed a Technology Transfer Agreement with Agrinnovate India Limited for the commercialization of Trichoderma viride 1.5% WP technology developed by ICAR–Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR).

The agreement was formally executed on 04 February 2026, marking another significant milestone in promoting eco-friendly and sustainable agricultural solutions in the country.

Trichoderma viride 1.5% WP is a bio-control agent widely used for the management of soil-borne plant pathogens. The technology offers an environmentally safe and sustainable alternative to chemical fungicides, contributing to improved soil health and enhanced crop productivity.

Through this partnership, HIL (India) Limited will undertake the production and marketing of the technology, ensuring its wider reach to farmers across India. Agrinnovate India Ltd., the commercial arm of DARE/ICAR, continues to facilitate the transfer of innovative agricultural technologies to industry partners for large-scale dissemination.

This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of ICAR, Agrinnovate India Ltd., and HIL (India) Limited toward strengthening sustainable agriculture and supporting farmers with advanced biological solutions. World Kick-Off Meeting for WVPA Asia Meeting 2026 Held in New Delhi.The World Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPA), in association with WVPA India, and with Agrinnovate India Limited and the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD), Ministry of Animal Husbandry, as Knowledge Partners, successfully organized the Kick‑Off Meeting for the 7th WVPA Asia Meeting on 9 January 2026 at NASC Complex, New Delhi.

The meeting held under the chairmanship of Dr. M. L. Jat, Director General, ICAR. Dr. Inderjeet Singh, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Bihar Animal Sciences University, was the Guest of Honour, and Dr. Praveen Malik, Animal Husbandry Commissioner (AHC), DAHD, served as Special Guest. The meeting set the strategic direction for the international conference to be hosted in New Delhi on 9–10 October 2026.

The kick-off meeting brought together leaders from government, academia, industry, research organisations, and professional bodies to discuss priorities, partnerships, and the roadmap for the Asia Meeting. Agrinnovate India Ltd. Facilitates Transfer of ICAR’s FMD Vaccine Technologies to M/s Reliance Life Sciences.Agrinnovate India Ltd. (AgIn), Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), has successfully facilitated the transfer of three Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) vaccine technologies developed by ICAR–National Institute of Foot and Mouth Disease (NIFMD), Bhubaneswar, to M/s Reliance Life Sciences.

The Technology Licence Agreement (TLA) was formally signed and exchanged on 13 January 2026 among Agrinnovate India Ltd., ICAR–NIFMD, and M/s Reliance Life Sciences, marking a significant milestone in strengthening India’s animal health ecosystem and advancing indigenous vaccine development.
