Delhi Heritage Foundation has been setup with the following objectives
• To preserve and promote the heritage, culture, monuments, history of Delhi with an intention to start a process of engaging the citizen of Delhi making them conscious and concerned of the heritage, culture, monuments, history of Delhi.
• To celebrate Delhi heritage
• To Promote Delhi Culture by adopting various activities in

cluding
conducting seminars, Arranging Conferences, Exhibitions, Films shows, Audio visuals, Drama and Songs etc.
• To Make efforts and bring awareness for conservation of monuments and heritage
• To work on History, Oral history, Publications on Delhi, Urdu language and other literature
• To start certificate courses for teachers on Delhi heritage and other courses for students
• To develop Audio CD’s for museums/monuments, Audio content through mobile (dial a number), Delhi stories for children, Comics like Amar Chitra katha, Cyber Museum etc.
• To study History through renowned personalities of Delhi.
• To popularise, retrieve and create Delhi culture through tv and film festivals depicting Delhi in Indian films
• To celebrate 365 days of Delhi in schools/colleges and to start Heritage cells in school/colleges
• To arrange Heritage walks.
• To arrange apps for mobile, notebook, laptop and other gadgets

Dr SY Quraishi and Trustees of Delhi Heritage Foundation invite you to a 'Periodical Talk' by Ms. Rana Safvi.

Venue: Modern school- Barakhamba Road
Date: 15th July 2017 (Saturday)
Time: 6:00 - 7:30 PM
Ms. Rana Safvi is a historian, author, translator, columnist, and blogger.
She has been documenting the syncretic culture of India through her books and articles.

During her talk, Ms. Rana Safvi will share rare insights about the Five months that shook Delhi in 1857. She will describe the society & Mughal court in Delhi, pre-May 1857 and the problems that surfaced, post 17 September 1857.
