DIET Karkardooma organized the live viewing of Pariksha Pe Charcha today, 09 February 2026, for students, faculty, and staff members. To ensure a smooth and comfortable experience, viewing arrangements were made in five rooms across the institute.
During the interaction, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of stress-free examinations and highlighted the role of life skills alongside academic learning for holistic personality development.
The event was conducted successfully and proved to be highly informative, inspiring, and motivating for all participants.

An Amazing Day at DIET Karkardooma's Annual Function “A Journey of Learning and Joy celebrating Together”
Our incredible pre-service teacher trainees totally stole the show! They brought India's diverse cultures to life with fun folk dances, beautiful classical performances, and traditions from states all across the country – it was pure magic on stage! An epic Grand Finale that had everyone cheering and clapping!
Our visionary Principal Dr. B. K. Pal illuminated the program with the prestigious Annual Achievement Report, culminating in a triumphant ceremony where gleaming trophies crowned our achievers!
We were profoundly honoured by the gracious presence and resounding applause from the esteemed Director, SCERT, Dr. Rita Sharma Madam, whose commendation elevated our festivities to legendary heights!

As part of the celebration, an Essay Writing Competition on “Vande Mataram: A Symbol of Unity and Integrity” was organized on 8th November 2025 in both Hindi and English.

Student-teachers actively participated and shared their thoughtful presentations under the guidance of their supervisors through online interaction.
Their expressions reflected patriotism, cultural pride, and the spirit of national unity.

✨ Deepawali Celebration at DIET Karkardooma ✨

DIET Karkardooma celebrated the Festival of Lights – Deepawali with great joy and enthusiasm on 16th October 2025 under the guidance of Principal Dr. B.K. Pal and supervision of Dr. Bandita B. Mohanty.

The celebration featured vibrant Rangoli making, lamp lighting, soulful speeches, poems, dance, singing performances, and a Ganesh–Laxmi Pujan.
All faculty members, BRPs, and D.El.Ed. trainees participated wholeheartedly, spreading light, positivity, and togetherness.

The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets and smiles all around. 🌸🪔

🎨 Workshop on Development of Teaching Learning Resources 🎓
DIET Karkardooma organized a creative and insightful workshop for D.El.Ed 1st-year student teachers from 1st–6th October 2025, under the permission of Dr. B.K. Pal (Principal) and guidance of Dr. Bandita B. Mohanty (Head, C & P).

The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Preeti Sharma with support from Dr. Ila Varma, Ms. Manisha, and Mr. Parveen Kumar.
Student teachers enthusiastically designed innovative Teaching Learning Resources (TLRs) across pedagogical subjects — enriching their preparation for the School Experience Programme.

The event concluded with a vibrant TLR Exhibition, where students showcased their work under the guidance of Dr. Preeti Sharma. Faculty members and BRPs appreciated their creativity, and Dr. B.K. Pal shared valuable insights and encouragement. 🌟
