Explore Delhi's Secret Lakes
Tour Description- This walking trail takes you to Sirohi, a village 40 kms from Delhi. We make our way through tiny villages, serene lakes and picturesque mountain views. In the past, a lot of illegal quarrying activities have been carried out in this area which has thankfully stopped for a while now, courtesy a court order. After the mining stopped many diggings got filled up with ground water and rains, thus creating some beautiful lakes. We will also take a short walk in the village after which we will enjoy a locally cooked meal, usually lentils and a vegetable dish accompanied with rice and chapatti.
How to reach- The meeting point for the tour is Badarpur metro station (Violet Line). From there it’s a 50 minute ride on local tempo. The road is slightly bumpy in patches. If you have back related problems, you might want to follow in your own vehicle. Alternatively, we can also arrange for your transport from anywhere in Delhi/NCR at nominal extra cost.
Group size- Minimum:4, Maximum:20; On weekends we might be able to accommodate even smaller groups depending on other bookings.
