There is a new development in our library project. The children have made a WhatsApp group.

We have decided that we will use the group for some constructive purpose. We want to push two-three words each day with pronunciation, explanation and usage examples in Hindi into the group so that children could learn. So we are looking for volunteers to send us these in our WhatsApp. You can copy it from somewhere or you can write on your own. You can also handwrite it in clear writing and click picture. You will just have to ensure that language is appropriate for a 10-12-year-old child and words which are most commonly used. And if you copy please mention the source and if you write it on your own please specify. Moreover, this isn't a compulsion you can be infrequent as well.

This is a very important photograph for us. The girl in the photo is the inspiration behind the 1000th Book we had added in the Library. Although, it took us a long to complete the book. Earlier I thought I will not share the photograph on Facebook but then I thought the photo and the story might inspire a few people.

This girl is a true inspiration. She is one of the earliest members of our library. When we met her first she couldn't even read a single word. That time we gave her a picture book to make a story. She came back with the story. Now she can read, write and even motivate others to learn. She is always eager to share and the best part is she is not scared in acknowledging others who have made a contribution in her life, perhaps a capability I haven't seen in people very often. The determination she has to learn is quite visible. The moment she got the book she read it in 10 minutes and even read the names written at the back of the book.

I hope she touch new heights in her life and contribute towards this world in making it a more inclusive and bearable :)

Are they enough?
Certainly not.

Note: These are NBT books and purchased at a discount of 25%. Also, due to limited availability of funds, we have purchased books below a certain amount. So there are still many books left in the NBT catalogue which we would like to have with us and there are books which we want in multiple numbers.

We are trying to purchase some books from the limited budget we have. But the budget we have only permit us to buy books which are below Rs 40. However, on seeing the complete catalogue of NBT we felt that these books are also very important for young and growing children. Please see if anyone would like to buy some of these for us to read.

P.S. We will probably get a discount of 25%.
