Singhvi further criticized the trial court's decision to allow the CBI's application for production warrants despite Kejriwal being interrogated for nearly three hours on June 25. "Can they keep me (Arvind Kejriwal) under arrest till the time I answer them what they want to hear? The moment I say, 'I am innocent and didn't do anything,' it becomes an evasive reply. Everything said by me is an evasive reply... What I am saying is the truth, not what the interrogator wants to hear. And even this, the Court will decide what is the truth," he argued.
Singhvi said, "Ironically, my party's name is Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), everyone is getting bail but not me." He also raised concerns about Kejriwal's health, noting, "Blood sugar has gone to 50 while sleeping. This is a cause of concern. Sugar levels dropping while the person is sleeping is dangerous. The person might not wake up. Please take a holistic view, a common sensical view. Three orders are already in my favour."

Singh also defended the CBI's actions, noting, "No observation till date, that CBI has been overzealous or has done something that violated any statute. Till date, there is no Act that the CBI has done, which can be called overreaching. He is a public servant. Prevention of Corruption Act requires permission to investigate under section 17. To say that in January I had the statement of Magunta Reddy, in April I got the sanction... There is a mechanism at the CBI."

The Delhi high court hears arguments from both sides in the Kejriwal case. Singhvi questions CBI's tactics while CBI defends its investigation process. The court continues to deliberate on the issuance of production warrants.
