🇮🇹The Italian Embassy Cultural Centre, New Delhi, in partnership with Kiran Nadar Museum of Art and the Archivio Bice Lazzari presents exhibition
In Rhythm: Bice Lazzari and Nasreen Mohamedi brings together the work of two seminal women artists—Italian painter Bice Lazzari (1900–1981) and Indian artist Nasreen Mohamedi (1937–1990) whose independent artistic journeys led to remarkably resonant approaches to line, repetition, geometry and restraint.
In Rhythm does not propose a relationship of influence, but reveals an unexpected affinity—a shared attentiveness to measure, interval and the expressive possibilities of abstraction.

✨An evening of conversation and reflection around two remarkable artistic voices.✨
Last evening, 🇮🇹The Italian Embassy Cultural Centre, New Delhi, in partnership with Kiran Nadar Museum of Art and the Archivio Bice Lazzari, inaugurated

The evening brought together Ms. Aurora Russi, Deputy Ambassador of the Embassy of Italy in India ; Mr. Manuel Rabaté, CEO and director, Kiran Nadar Museum of Art ; Mr. Andrea Anastasio, Director, Italian Embassy Cultural Centre, New Delhi and Ms. Roobina Karode, Artistic Director and Chief Curator, KNMA, who reflected on the significance of bringing these two distinct artistic practices into dialogue.
Bice Lazzari (1900–1981) and Nasreen Mohamedi (1937–1990) never met, nor is there evidence that they encountered each other’s work. Yet, across different contexts and artistic trajectories, both arrived at an increasingly distilled language of line, geometry, repetition, rhythm and restraint.

🇮🇹 Incontrarsi in Italiano | Italian Language and Culture Laboratory
The first edition of Incontrarsi in Italiano, organised by SLAM – University of Milan Language Centre, will take place from 4 to 10 October 2026 at Palazzo Feltrinelli in Gargnano, Lake Garda.
Designed for international participants aged 40 and over, with at least an intermediate level of Italian, the programme offers 26 hours of language and cultural activities focused on strengthening communicative confidence, linguistic autonomy and oral skills.
Participants will also have the opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage of the area, including visits to a historic lemon house and the Vittoriale degli Italiani, the home museum of Gabriele D’Annunzio. 🍋📚

Re-Garde, An evening of movement, culture, and conversation. ✨
Last evening, 🇮🇹Italian Embassy Cultural Centre, in collaboration with 🇫🇷Alliance Française de Delhi, presented a captivating dance performance by Compagnie MF, featuring Maxime and Francesco.
The evening was introduced by Ms. Aurora Russi, Deputy Ambassador of Italy to India, and Mr. Frédéric Wolska, Academic Director of Alliance Française de Delhi.
The audience warmly embraced the performance, which was followed by an insightful Q&A with the artists, bringing performers and audience together in conversation.

🇮🇹 The inaugural session of the newly launched “Italia Futura: Young Minds Series” was a tremendous success. Jointly launched by Uni-Italia India and the Italian Embassy Cultural Centre, in association with the Embassy of Italy, the series is dedicated to inspiring and engaging the bright young minds of leading high schools across the National Capital Region.
Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Ramagya School, Noida, for the opening session of this exciting initiative.
Mr. Francesco Guarascio, First Secretary, Embassy of Italy, addressed the students with a warm welcome, followed by two simultaneous workshops: one on 🇮🇹 for students of Classes XI–XII, and another on the Italian language and culture for students of Classes VIII–IX.
We look forward to welcoming another outstanding high school next week as we continue this inspiring journey.

🎓Scholarships to Study Fashion in Italy

IIFM, Italian Institute of Fashion Management – Milan offers merit- and income-based scholarships to support international students aspiring to pursue advanced studies in fashion and luxury management.

Each scholarship, worth €8,400, covers 40% of the tuition fee for IIFM’s University Master’s Programs (60 CFU/ECTS) in Milan, starting in January 2027, in collaboration with the most important fashion & luxury companies.
