The Surajya Rankings continue to serve as a national benchmark of development, reflecting how States and Union Territories are strengthening India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat through focused efforts in Shiksha, Swasthya, Samriddhi, and Sushasan.
Shiksha (Education): Gujarat secures the top position in formal education excellence, followed by Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Telangana and Maharashtra also feature among leading performers, while Jammu & Kashmir leads among Union Territories.
Swasthya (Health): Under Ayushman Arogya Yojna, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Kerala, Manipur, Mizoram, and Uttarakhand achieve 100% certification, with Chandigarh leading among UTs. In diagnostics under MELT, West Bengal ranks first, followed by Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, with Tamil Nadu and Kerala also among the top performers.
Samriddhi (Prosperity): In the ZED Scheme, Uttar Pradesh leads, followed by Odisha and Gujarat, while Jammu & Kashmir ranks first among UTs. Under the LEAN Scheme, Gujarat secures the top position, with Punjab and Bihar following. Gujarat leads in NABL Testing, followed by Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. In NABL Calibration, Gujarat and Maharashtra take the top two positions. Maharashtra also leads in NABCB Inspection Bodies, while Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh jointly top Product Certification Bodies.
Sushasan (Good Governance): Karnataka and Maharashtra jointly lead in Environmental performance, while Karnataka ranks first in Social parameters. In Governance, Uttar Pradesh secures the top position, followed by Karnataka and Maharashtra. NCT of Delhi continues to lead among Union Territories across all three dimensions.
