Dr. Ambedkar Foundation organised the National Conference on The Living Constitution on 26 November 2025 at Bhim Hall, DAIC, marking the culmination of the year-long celebration of Samvidhan@75, honouring 75 years of the adoption of the Indian Constitution.
The event was graced by Hon’ble Justice B.R. Gavai, former Chief Justice of India (Chief Guest), along with Shri Amit Yadav (Secretary, D/o SJE), Smt. C.K. Deshmukh (Addl. Secretary, D/o SJE), Shri V. Appa Rao (Member Secretary, DAF), Shri Manoj Tiwari (Director, DAF) and other dignitaries. The Conference began with the lamp-lighting ceremony and Preamble Oath recital led by Hon’ble Justice B.R. Gavai, reaffirming our shared commitment to constitutional values. This was followed by the welcome address from Shri V. Appa Rao, highlighting the importance of Samvidhan@75, and a keynote by Shri Amit Yadav reflecting on the Constitution’s role in Social Justice & Empowerment. Hon’ble Justice B.R. Gavai further in his thoughtful and impactful address, emphasised the timeless vision of the Constitution and the responsibility of every citizen to uphold its guiding principles.
The inaugural session concluded with the release of the book "One India Through Digital India", followed by a group photograph symbolising collective commitment towards a strong, inclusive and developed Viksit Bharat @2047. The Conference progressed with two panel discussions — Panel I on Democracy, Dignity & Development in the 21st Century, and Panel II on Constitutional Pathways to Social Justice & Inclusive Development – realising Dr. Ambedkar’s vision in contemporary India. An interactive open quiz actively engaged the audience.
