China has achieved a major engineering breakthrough by completing an 11-kilometer underwater tunnel beneath the Yangtze River.
This advanced tunnel is designed for high-speed bullet trains that will run at an incredible speed of 350 km per hour.
The project is part of China’s ambitious high-speed rail expansion plan. It is one of the longest and most technically challenging underwater rail tunnels in the world.
Engineers used state-of-the-art technology and tunnel boring machines to complete this massive infrastructure project.
