What once stood devastated by the 2025 landslide in Margi, Warwan, now stands as a symbol of resilience, hope, and a new beginning.

In the aftermath of the disaster, Miles2Smile stood with the affected families—working for nearly a month on the ground, providing relief, essential support, and rehabilitation to communities struggling to rebuild their lives.

But we knew relief alone was not enough. So, we returned to rebuild.

The very structure that had been destroyed was reconstructed and transformed into a sanctuary of learning—the Begum Sultan Jahan Center of Learning.

From responding to a disaster to rebuilding a future, this journey reflects what Miles2Smile believes in: not merely restoring walls, but restoring dignity, dreams, and possibilities.

Today, where there was once devastation, children have a place to learn, grow, and dream again.

Because sometimes, the most powerful form of relief is giving a community a reason to hope.

We saw the pain. We cared. We made a promise—and then we travelled miles to keep it. Through the flooded villages and isolated communities of Assam, we stood beside families who had lost so much. In Assam Flood Relief 2026, we brought care, dignity, and hope—one helping hand, one healing heart, and one restored smile at a time.

As part of our continued relief efforts in Assam, the Miles2Smile team reached Sumoni Gaon in Sivasagar district, where families have been severely affected by the devastating floods.

In this relief distribution, we supported 50 families with essential daily use items to help them manage their immediate needs during this difficult time.

For many families, the floods have disrupted their homes, livelihoods, and everyday lives. Basic necessities that we often take for granted have become difficult to access.

Our team distributed essential household and daily use supplies, bringing some much needed support and comfort to families facing the aftermath of the floods.

But relief is not just about providing supplies. It is about standing with communities when they need us the most with compassion, dignity, and hope.

Our work across Assam continues, and every contribution helps us reach more families affected by the floods.

Together, we can bring relief today and help rebuild tomorrow.

From waterlogged villages buried in mud to remote flood islands cut off from the outside world, Miles2Smile is reaching the people who need help the most in Sivasagar, Assam.

With thousands of families battling the aftermath of devastating floods, our teams are working on the ground—bringing medicines, medical care, and compassion to communities that have been left vulnerable and isolated.

So far, we have established more than 10 medical camps, providing essential healthcare and medicines to thousands of flood-affected people.

For us, relief is not just about reaching a place—it is about reaching a person, standing beside them in their hardest hour, and reminding them that they are not alone.

From every muddy path to every remote flood island, Miles2Smile continues its journey of love, care and compassion.

Together, let’s stand with Assam.

In our continued relief work for Assam's flood, Miles2Smile team visited Hazrat Khandakar Pir Madrasa Darul Quran, Pashi Pathar, Sivasagar, to conduct a medical camp for families affected by the devastating floods in Assam.

The camp cured as many as 60 students battling with injuries and diseases which followed the flood water. Our team provided medical consultations, essential medicines, and healthcare support to children, elderly residents, and vulnerable families in need.

However, this medical camp might have provided relief to the people but the broken patches of their lives still linger.

As floodwaters continue to disrupt daily life, access to healthcare has become increasingly difficult. The camp reminded us that relief is also about standing beside communities in their hardest moments with compassion, dignity, and hope.

Meantime, our work in Assam continues, and every contribution helps us reach more people in need. Together, we can bring relief today and help rebuild tomorrow.
