The law, which was another attempt by the BJP-led NDA alliance to polarise the nation further, sparked widespread protests throughout the country. This is an occasion to reiterate our oath to protect the Indian constitution.

SFI JMI along with other organisations protested against the seminar on the book 'Modi@20: Dreams meet Delivery' conducted by Jamia Administration. The administration's decision to invite Indresh Kumar, RSS leader and communal hate monger as a key speaker for the event is highly condemnable. Resist fascist propaganda and hindutva politics on campus.

International Worker's Day marks the struggles of workers around the world who sacrificed their lives and livelihood in the path of making a better world, who brimmed in streets and lead fierce battles against Capitalist Fascist forces. This year we are at the wake of historic farmers movement and formation of labour union in Amazon ware house. A better world is possible comrades.

ABVP with support of authorities are creating havoc in JNU campus repeatedly, this is an attempt to dismantle a University which is one of the brighter outposts of dissent in the nation.

Student activists are being targeted by Jamia Administration which is constantly engaging in crushing of voices of dissent inside the campus. There were incidents of management using police machinery to crush student struggle while it was engaged in Reopen Jamia movement, new to this list is the showcase notice against student activist and bonafide student of MA Gender studies in Jamia Wajahat Nizami who is part of the movement. Jamia admin is using proctorial staffs to curb students from entering into the campus and exercising their Democratic rights.

SFI JMI demands Jamia admin to revoke showcase notice against Wajahat Nizami and to stop intimidating protesting students.
