On , the NPCCHH Division, NCDC successfully organized a National Webinar on Heat Preparedness and Response, bringing together over 400 participants, including State Nodal Officers, District Nodal Officers, and Medical Officers from across the country.
Expert sessions by LEADING CLINICIANS, IMD, CEEW and NRDC India covered heat-wave forecasts, urban heat risks, Heat Action Plans, health impacts of heat on pediatric and adult population, and strengthening heat-related illness surveillance and preparedness.
Together, we reaffirm our commitment to building a heat-resilient India and protecting vulnerable populations from the growing impacts of extreme heat.
