Today, we celebrate the 118th birth anniversary of Shivaram Rajguru, the member of HRA and HSRA who was involved in Kakori train robbery and assassination of JP Saunders. As part of our campaign, Jashn-e-Inquilaab, celebrating the centenary of Naujawan Bharat Sabha, we will like to share the history of this mass organisation that was built by Rajguru and his fellow comrades.

TOTO Repertory, the theatre collective of PSYA, along with the music collective of PSYA, will be performing an original street play "We Shall Fly the Red Flag" as part of our campaign "Jashn-e-Inquilaab" celebrating the centenary year of Naujawan Bharat Sabha built by Bhagat Singh and his comrades with a motive to organise students and youth with socialist aims. The play draws a parallel between the current socio-economic and political scenario with the situation prevailing then. It makes a case for building such an organisation and shows its relevance for the times we live in. We'll be performing the play in different parts of Delhi. Having performed at Sindhi Park and JNU, we will be again performing it this Tuesday (25th) at DU Arts Faculty, Gate No. 4 at 5 pm. If you're interested in catching up with the play, do join!

Let us turn the euphoria of our successes with the CJP protest into fuel for a sustained struggle for a systemic change. Let us be guided by the vision of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh in taking the momentum forward! As a part of our campaign celebrating the centenary of Naujawan Bharat Sabha, the youth organization founded by Bhagat Singh and his comrades, we will be reading and discussing his message "To Young Political Workers" at various places throughout Delhi. After IIT-D, JNU, and New Friends Colony, we are holding this reading session near Sikanderpurmetrostation, Gurgaon. Join us on the following date:
23rd August, 5-8 pm
Exact location will be shared upon registeration.

This is the Red Flag song that was adopted by the Naujawan Bharat Sabha (the youth mass organisation founded by Bhagat Singh and his comrades) as its anthem along with the Red Flag as its emblem. They used to start their public functions with this anthem. It was even banned by the British government in the April of 1930. The Sabha defied their orders and continued to sing it. We found the lyrics of this anthem in the book 'History of Naujawan Bhahat Sabha' by com. Ramchandra, who was Sabha's president. After our search for any pre-existing compositions of the anthem failed to yield any results, the music collective of PSYA gave it an original composition.
We request you to join this campaign, Jashn-e-Inquilab, celebrating the centenary of Naujawan Bharat Sabha by singing the anthem and sharing it. We plan to use all responses to create a version with big chorus!
