In its present form, the bottled water market in India is not environmentally friendly. Almost without exception, water is sold in s
ingle-use plastic bottles that are difficult to dispose of and to recycle. These bottles are not tamper proof, and product adulteration is common. It was to address these needs, and to offer a premium product offering pristine quality water, that Vishranti Spa Water was established in 2015, to supply packaged drinking water in 20 liter PET carboy’s to a local market restricted to a 40KM radius within Dehradun. Vishranti Spa Water was as a subsidiary of Vishranti Heritage Hotel Pvt Ltd, established as Luxury Farm Stay (Jungle Retreat) by former Indian test cricketer, Michael Dalvi and his son Madhav Dalvi in the year 2009 both having 50% share in the above-mentioned Pvt. company. Vishranti Spa Water is promoted by his son, Madhav. Vishranti Spa water is procured from a natural underground source located within a reserve forest West of Dehradun City at Vishranti Heritage Hotel, and the plan is to enter the 1 liter(PET and Glass),500 ML (PET and Glass) and 200ML PET bottle markets in the 2019/2020 financial year and sell 15000 cases monthly of the above mentioned bottle sizes at Rs96 per case on average. Vishranti Spa Water has an in principle agreement with Bisleri India Ltd. for the sale of 30,000 carboy’s a month with a YOY escalation of 30% for a period of 9 years. Vishranti Spa water aspires to become a substantial local player in Dehradun and it's immediate neighbourhood in Phase 1 of its operations. The future plan is to create a widespread North Indian presence within the next 5 years via the Merger and Acquisition method of expansion. It is our commitment to be a green, virtually carbon neutral plant in the near future.
