Bodhi – Inclusive Skilling Center Launched
As part of its ongoing commitment to inclusive care for “Children with Special Needs (CWSN)”, Dehradun based CSO “Society for Inclusive Development (SFID)” inaugurated the Bodhi Inclusive Skilling Center today at Green Field School. The launch was graced by several dignitaries, advisory board members, special educators, and parents of children with special needs.
The Bodhi Center is a significant step forward in inclusive education, communication, and skill development. It aims to empower CWSN through personalized vocational training and life skills development. “Our focus is on equipping these children with the tools they need to lead independent and fulfilling lives,” said Project Lead Shubhang Jaggi.
The center is already operational and offering early identification and intervention using AI-based tools and applications developed by Kidaura Software. It also provides a range of therapies tailored to the needs of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other neurodevelopmental conditions & delays.
Recently Team BODHI was invited to Nairobi/Kenya to showcase their work on “Disability, Inclusion and Technology (assistive technology).
Currently, the Bodhi Inclusive Care Center offers a range of specialized services, including Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Therapy, Yoga, Music, Dance, Sports, and Physiotherapy and working with US, Europe and Japan based organizations/groups.
As part of the inauguration ceremony, a vibrant cultural program was presented by the children with Spl. Needs . Their creativity, joy, and confidence left the audience deeply moved and inspired.
