DAV Public School, Defence Colony, Dehradun observed Veer Bal Diwas on 26th December 2025.
The programme was graced by former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and Hon’ble MP from Haridwar, Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat, as the Chief Guest.
He inspired students to draw strength from the supreme sacrifice, unwavering courage, and patriotism of the Sahibzadas, reminding them that this day is not just for remembrance but for learning and action.
Addressing the students, Shri Rawat urged them to remain steadfast in adversity, work with dedication, and always place nation before self, following the ideals of Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh. His presence filled everyone with pride and enthusiasm.
The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Principal, Mrs. Shalini Samadhiya, along with the Chief Guest.
Students presented a soulful classical dance depicting Panchatatva and the sanctity of Yajna, accompanied by Vedic chants, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.
On this occasion students who secured first positions in various prestigious inter-school dance competitions were felicitated with certificates and trophies.
In her address, Madam Principal Shalini Samadhiya encouraged students to uphold the values of discipline, hard work, and moral integrity, and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Guest.
The event concluded with a solemn tribute to the four Sahibzadas of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, honouring their immortal sacrifice and inspiring young minds towards patriotism, values, and duty.
