Centre for Public Policy and Good Governance (CPPGG) anchored in the Department of Planning is a think tank to support the Government of Uttarakhand in governance and policy reforms. CPPGG was formed in 2017 to act as a think tank to support the Government of Uttarakhand to identify bottlenecks of the State’s growth trajectory and develop a roadmap for holistic and sustainable development. The cen
tre aims to accelerate the sustainable growth of the state through action research and analytics for better planning and policy framework. It is registered as an autonomous body under the Societies Act 1860, with a governing council headed by Chief Minister, Chief Secretary, secretaries and has experts from various prestigious institutions as members. CPPGG is equipped with sector specialists engaged in providing policy and planning level support to various state departments on areas of livelihood, climate change, training and capacity building, MIS (Management Information System), M&E (Monitoring and Evaluation), and disaster preparedness.
