Davanagere City Corporation and Hirekerur Town Panchayat and Teradal Town Municipal Council have officially signed an MoU under the Swachhata Shehar Jodi (SSJ) initiative of Swachh Survekshan 2025! 🌍🧹
🏙️ Davanagere has been designated as the Mentor City and Hirekerur and Teradal as the Mentee Cities to work together on strengthening urban sanitation & waste management practices. ♻️🚮
📑 A 100-day Joint Action Plan was handed over by City Corporation Commissioner Smt. Renuka, along with Mentor City nodal officers and Mentee City officers, marking the beginning of a strong partnership towards a cleaner, healthier & sustainable urban environment. 🌱💧

🌿✨ Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 - Swachhotsava ✨🌿
As part of the “Ek Din, Ek Saath, Ek Ghanta” program, Davanagere City Corporation organized a Plogathon at Kunduwada Lake 🏞️💪.
The event saw the active participation of the Deputy Commissioner of Davanagere District, DHUDA Commissioner, City Corporation commissioner, Project Director, DUDC, Zilla Panchayat President & CEO, 🌳 Forest Department Officers, ⚖️ Lawyers’ Association Members, 🏘️ Resident Welfare Association members, and Corporation Officers & Staff 🙌.
💚 All participants took the Swachhata Pledge 🙏, and the Deputy Commissioner Sri. Gangadhara swamy G M addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness in Davanagere City 🌎✨.

🌿✨ Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 - Swachhotsava ✨🌿 As part of the Swachhotsava campaign, Davanagere City Corporation Commissioner organized the distribution of PPE kits 🦺🧤 to our dedicated sanitation workers at the City Corporation Council Hall. 🙌 The event was graced by the presence of the Superintendent Engineer, Executive Engineer, AEE of UGD, DCC staff and sanitation workers who play a vital role in keeping our city clean and green 🌍💚.
