Dasuya (Dasua) is a town and a municipal council in Hoshiarpur district in the state of Punjab, India. The town is referred to in the ancient Indian epic, the Mahabharata, as being the seat of king Virata. In recognition of this, Dasuya is still referred to as Virat Ki Nagri today. In the closing decade of the fourteenth century, Dasuya at least twice witnessed the pass

age of an army during the struggle against the Muslim conquerors, Abu Bakar and Amir Taimur.Later, in December 1557, the army of the incumbent Sultan Akbar, led by his governor of Lahore, Khizr Khan, camped at the town while dealing successfully with a threat posed by Sikandar Sur. More recently, Dasuya featured in debates related to the emergence of Himachal Pradesh. "Perhaps no other State of India has suffered as many territorial and political changes in recent times as the Punjab". Within the process of the linguistic reorganisation of states, the claim that Dasuya should be incorporated into Himachal Pradesh on the grounds. Dasuya's Attractions:

ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰਪੁਰ ਆਸ਼ਿਕਾ ਜੈਨ ਨੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਈਆਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ 7 ਮਈ, ਦਿਨ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਹੰਗਾਮੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਜਿੱਠਣ ਲਈ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਤਹਿਤ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਸ਼ਾਮ 7 ਵਜੇ ਸਾਇਰਨ ਵੱਜੇਗਾ, ਜੋ ਹਵਾਈ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕੱਲੂ ਜਾਂ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਸਾਇਰਨ ਵਜੇ ਤਾਂ ਆਮ ਜਨਤਾ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਆਸ ਰੱਖੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਸਾਰ ਉੱਚੀਆਂ ਇਮਾਰਤਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਕੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਜਮੀਨ ਜਾਂ ਜ਼ਮੀਨਦੋਜ਼ ਬੰਕਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਜਾਣ, ਜੇਕਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਉਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਛੱਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਦਰਖਤ ਦੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਲੰਮੇ ਪੈ ਜਾਣ। ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਇਮਾਰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਉਹ ਖਿੜਕੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਸ਼ੀਸ਼ੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ। ਇਸੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਗੈਸ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੇ ਕਨੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਲੋੜ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪੀਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਤੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਸਟੋਰ ਰੱਖਣ। ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸੜਕ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਚਲਦੇ ਰਾਹਗੀਰ ਜਾਂ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ ਵਹੀਕਲ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਅੱਗ ਬੁਝਾਊ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਐਂਬੂਲੈਂਸ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਰਸਤਾ ਦੇਣ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਿਵਲ ਡਿਫੈਂਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਲਈ ਵਜਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਫੰਕਸ਼ਨਲਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਊਂਡ ਚੈੱਕ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਘਬਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
‌ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਰਾਤ 8 ਵਜੇ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਲੈਕ ਆਊਟ ਦਾ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਬਲੈਕ ਆਊਟ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਲਾਈਟ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਅਪੀਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਨਵਰਟਰ ਜਾਂ ਜਨਰੇਟਰ ਬੰਦ ਰੱਖਣ। ਜੇਕਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਜ੍ਹਾ ਇਹ ਚਾਲੂ ਰੱਖਣੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਲਾਈਟਾਂ ਇਸ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਖਿੜਕੀ ਜਾਂ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਸੀ.ਸੀ.ਟੀ.ਵੀ ਕੈਮਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਜੋ ਲਾਈਟ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਹੋਣ 'ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਚਲਦੀ ਹੈ, ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਬੰਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਵਿਖਾਈ ਦੇਵੇ।
ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਸੜਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਗੱਡੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉਸਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਈਟਾਂ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੜਕ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਲਾਹ ਕੇ ਕੱਚੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੋਕ ਕੇ ਲਵੇ।

"जब कर्तव्य निभाने का समय था, तब ये टट पूंजीये यूट्यूबर अपने कैमरों के साथ वीडियो बनाने में मशगूल थे। महाकुंभ जैसी पवित्र धार्मिक सभा में शॉर्ट सर्किट से लगी आग को बुझाने के बजाय, इनकी प्राथमिकता सिर्फ व्यूज और लाइक्स बटोरने की थी। यह न केवल असंवेदनशीलता की पराकाष्ठा है, बल्कि मानवता के प्रति भी घोर अपमान है। ऐसे 'हरामखोर' यूट्यूबरों को समझना चाहिए कि लोगों की सुरक्षा और जीवन सबसे पहले है, न कि उनके वीडियो के व्यूज।।
