Balasun Tea Garden This plantation was established in 1871 by M/s Devenport & Company Ltd. The original name of the Garden was Nahore Balasun

Balasun Tea Estate is located at about 65-70kms from Bagdogra Airport, under Kurseong Sub division of Darjeeling Hill district, situated 7 km below NH – 55A originating from Siliguri towards Darjeeling near tiny hamlet of SONADA town. It is flanked by Moondakotee Tea Estate in the North, Margaret’s Hope Tea Estate in the East, Nagari Farm in the West and Ambootia Tea Garden in the South. The area under cultivation is roughly between 350 meters to 1400 meters.
