Strengthening the bond between the police and the younger generation!

Today, the State Police Headquarters organized “JUVENTICA: Police Awareness and Engagement Program for Adolescents” in partnership with UNICEF. Inaugurated by DGP Shri Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, the event reached over 15,000 adolescents across 555 police stations in Odisha.
The initiative focuses on:

✅ Making policing more accessible and friendly for youth.
✅ Addressing challenges like cybercrime and social media misuse.
✅ Building a secure environment through empathy and guidance.

ଓଡ଼ିଶା ପୋଲିସ ଏବଂ ୟୁନିସେଫ୍ (UNICEF) ର ମିଳିତ ସହଯୋଗରେ ଆଜି “JUVENTICA” କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି। DGP ଶ୍ରୀ ଯୋଗେଶ ବାହାଦୁର ଖୁରାନିଆଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଉଦଘାଟିତ ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ୫୫୫ଟି ଥାନାର ପ୍ରାୟ ୧୫,୦୦୦ରୁ ଅଧିକ କିଶୋର କିଶୋରୀ ଅଂଶଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ। ସୋସିଆଲ ମିଡିଆର ସତର୍କ ବ୍ୟବହାର ଏବଂ ସାଇବର ଅପରାଧରୁ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଏଠାରେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଆଲୋଚନା କରାଯାଇଥିଲା।

🚨 Odisha Police Strikes Hard Against Drug Trafficking! 🚨

In a series of coordinated operations, the Odisha Police has dealt a massive blow to inter-state narcotics networks. Our teams have successfully intercepted and seized enormous quantities of contraband across the state:

✅ Bargarh: A suspicious truck was intercepted during night patrolling, leading to the recovery of 1,914 kg of G***a and the arrest of 5 individuals.
✅ Subarnapur: 1.58 quintals of G***a seized and 2 smugglers arrested.
✅ Gajapati: An incredible effort resulted in the seizure of approximately 21 metric tons of G***a across 21 raids, with 7 accused taken into custody.

We have ZERO TOLERANCE for drug trafficking in our state.

During a special drive, police teams from Khajuripada, Phiringia, Daringbadi, and Tumudibandh Police Stations seized illegal fi****ms and arrested five accused persons.
🔍 Seizure details
✅ 16 country-made fi****ms.

Fi****ms linked to Daringbadi and Tumudibandh were concealed near jungle area for the purpose of illegal hunting of wild animals and other unlawful activities. Further investigation is ongoing.
