PM MITRA Park, Amravati continues to expand its integrated textile ecosystem with the allotment of 60 acres for a state-of-the-art Cotton Ginning, Research and Agri-Processing Campus. The facility, being established by TTY Projects India Private Limited, is set to reinforce the Parkโ€™s role as a large-scale textile manufacturing hub.

Conceived as a long-term anchor development, the project aims to support modernization, quality enhancement, and resilience across Indiaโ€™s cotton value chain, with a particular focus on the Vidarbha cotton belt. The campus is designed to integrate two complementary ginning technologies within a unified industrial system, enabling optimized processing based on harvesting methods, fibre characteristics, and end-use requirements.

With a proposed investment of โ‚น150 Crore and estimated employment generation of ~250 jobs (50 direct in Phase 1), this development marks a significant step toward strengthening upstream textile infrastructure at scale.

Progress under the Export Promotion Mission (EPM) was reviewed during the engagement with Export Promotion Councils. Key interventions include enhanced access to export credit through interest subvention, collateral guarantee support for MSME exporters and targeted market access initiatives. Additional measures in trade finance, logistics, compliance and branding are being implemented in phases to further reinforce Indiaโ€™s export ecosystem and accelerate global integration.

At PM MITRA Park, Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu, a strong export-oriented textile ecosystem is being developed to drive large-scale manufacturing and global competitiveness.

โ‚น184.80 Cr. worth of external infrastructure works are currently in progress, while โ‚น364 Cr. core infrastructure works are being implemented within the park, laying a solid foundation for industrial growth.

Investor confidence is evident, with โ‚น2076 Cr. worth of investment interest received along with the application of allotment for 201 acres of land in the first call for applications. Work on the internal water supply system is also under ex*****on, strengthening essential infrastructure readiness.

A major textile export hub is taking shape, right here in Virudhunagar.
