At Restoring Nature, we’re finding ways to deal with the most pressing environmental issues faced by our city and locality.

A casual conversation between two friends. Mr.Sathish and Mr.Yogesh had indulged in a small conversation about the horrific state of the garbage dump at the VKL Nagar “4” corner and that’s how things started to get in motion. A WhatsApp group was created to involve all the like-minded people of the locality and before we knew it, there were more people contributing in every way possible. Our curre

nt focus is on “Solid Waste Management” which is crucial for a clean neighbourhood. We intend to work closely with the Coimbatore Corporation, corporate companies in & around our area and NGOs to create awareness on waste segregation, collection and safe disposal of the collected waste. We intend to evolve a system for disposal of organic waste with the help of local experts. We’re doing our best to ensure that we don’t use up today what we’re going to need tomorrow. Other green initiatives by the Team Restoring Nature are:

Development of parks to provide green cover
Creating Plastic Free Zones by neighbourhood cleanup activities
Creating awareness about the 4 R’s -Refuse, Reduce, Reuse & Recycle, which are key to a clean neighbourhood

Students from Special Education School , including those who are visually impaired and deaf, joined us for a plantation drive.

We're grateful to a group of enthusiastic bikers🏁,who accepted our invitation to participate and support these amazing students, making the event an inclusive and empowering experience.

Together, we not only planted trees but also fostered a sense of community and social responsibility. Kudos to everyone involved! 🌳💚"
