22-10-2025: A One-Day Awareness Programme on Cybersecurity was conducted by the NIELIT Churachandpur Team — Mary Thethem Haokip and Seilenmang at Greenwood Academy, Churachandpur. A total of 305 students actively participated in the session. During the awareness program, our AI Team showcased demonstrations on the “YUVAi: Global Youth Challenge” and introduced the 10-day virtual mentorship and training bootcamps aimed at supporting solution enhancement, hands-on innovation, and student creativity in AI-driven projects.

A total of 53 students from 1st Semester of Psychology actively participated in the session. During the awareness program, our AI Team showcased demonstrations on the “YUVAi: Global Youth Challenge” and introduced the 10-day virtual mentorship and training bootcamps aimed at supporting solution enhancement, hands-on innovation, and student creativity in AI-driven projects.

29.09.2025: 3 days (20 hrs) Essential IT and Fundamentals under the project titled “Empowering Police Personnel and Government Officials of NE States through IT and Cyber Security Training" at Superintendent of Police,Churachandpur District Branch for Police Personnel commenced on 29th September 2025. The training was conducted by Churachandpur Team, Khamgoumang(Project Associate) and Alina (Project Associate).

📢 NIELIT Churachandpur Extension Centre, under , successfully organized an Inter-School Quiz & Painting Competition on 2nd August 2025 at NIELIT Churachandpur! 🖌️🧠

🎨 Painting Theme: "Protecting Nature – The Impact of Deforestation"
📚 Quiz Theme: "ICT-Based Models for Local Solutions"

👏 A total of 152 students from various schools participated enthusiastically, showcasing their creativity and knowledge.

🏆 Prizes were distributed by Shri. Prakhar Pandey (IPS), Superintendent of Police, Churachandpur District, Manipur, who graced the event as Chief Guest, and Shri. Pauchungnung Vaiphei, Associate Professor, Dept. of Political Science, Churachandpur College, who presided over the function. Both dignitaries delivered inspiring speeches, encouraging students to explore innovative paths and aim high in their careers.

The first phase of a 30-hours/7-day hands-on internship training on AI and ML using Python for Class VIII students was held from 21st to 29th November 2024, at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Churachandpur. The training was conducted by Churachandpur Extension Centre with Shri Khamgoumang, Guest Faculty as coordinator. The technical sessions were led by Shri Khamgoumang, Guest Faculty and Paojamang Haokip, WBL Intern, who acted as the program's technical experts and instructors. 43 students participated in the programme.
