🏗️ Bridging Classroom Learning with Real-World Construction! 🏗️

The 2nd Year students of the Civil Engineering Department of Hooghly Institute of Technology had an enriching on-site learning experience through a visit to the newly constructed building at the institute premises.
The students were guided by Shri Sudipta Dutta, Lecturer, Department of Civil Engineering, who demonstrated the experimental procedures and practical applications of various construction materials at the site.
The session helped the students to connect theoretical concepts with practical knowledge.

⚡ Seminar on Power Generation & Grid System of India and West Bengal ⚡
The Department of Electrical Engineering, Hooghly Institute of Technology (HIT) organised an informative seminar on “Power Generation and Grid System of India and West Bengal” on 1st September 2026.
The seminar was delivered by the 3rd Year students of the Electrical Department, who presented valuable insights into the fundamentals of power generation, transmission and distribution, along with the structure and functioning of the Indian and West Bengal power grids.
