Childhood is not for work.

Every child deserves a childhood filled with learning, laughter, safety, and dreams — not labour and hardship.

On the World Day Against Child Labour, Sri Arunodayam stands for every child’s right to education, protection, and the freedom to simply be a child.

Because childhood should build futures, not carry burdens.

Protect childhood. End the violence.

Every child deserves a life filled with safety, care, and the freedom to grow without fear. Violence against children leaves lasting scars that no child should ever carry.

On the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression, Sri Arunodayam stands for protection, compassion, and every child’s right to live with dignity and peace.

Because childhood should be nurtured — never harmed.

Your Smoke. Their Risk.
To***co doesn’t only affect the person using it — it harms families, children, and everyone exposed to it. Choosing a to***co-free life is a step toward protecting both present and future generations.

On World No To***co Day, Sri Arunodayam encourages healthier choices, safer environments, and greater awareness about the impact of to***co on children and communities.

Because protecting children begins with the choices adults make.

Nivetha was born healthy, but a severe fever during early childhood changed her life forever.

Despite countless medical consultations, no one could clearly explain her condition. Today, she lives with severe disabilities that once made many people believe she would never achieve independence or recognition.

But her mother, Vanitha Pushpam O, refused to accept those limitations.

She relocated cities, balanced a demanding government job, fought to ensure continuity in her daughter’s treatment and education, and dedicated her life to supporting Nivetha’s growth.

Over time, Nivetha achieved what many once thought impossible — receiving multiple National and State Awards for her accomplishments.

Vanitha’s journey is a powerful reminder that children with disabilities deserve opportunity, encouragement, dignity, and a system willing to believe in them.

In the early years, Sritharani believed her son’s behaviour was simply childhood mischief. But as speech delays continued, fear and uncertainty slowly entered the family’s life.

The autism diagnosis changed everything.
What followed were years of therapy, emotional exhaustion, crowded bus rides, public meltdowns, and the silent struggles many special parents know too well.

But Sritharani and her husband never stopped believing in their son.
Then something extraordinary happened.

At the age of seven, Adhikeshavan discovered music — and music changed his life.
Today, he has completed advanced levels in Carnatic music, finished school, and is pursuing higher education, achieving milestones that once felt impossible.

This powerful story reminds us that children with autism are not defined by what they cannot do. Sometimes, they simply need someone patient enough to discover what makes them shine.

When Umamaheswari’s son Krishna was born with severe medical complications, her life became a journey of hospitals, therapies, and constant caregiving.

Like many parents of special children, she initially searched for help, guidance, and hope.
But one visit to a special school changed her life forever.

Watching teachers and parents work tirelessly for children with disabilities deeply moved her. That day, she made a decision — she would not remain only a parent seeking support. She would become someone who could support others too.

Today, Umamaheswari helps nearly 40 special children and their families through her work and advocacy.
Her son Krishna has also grown with confidence and independence through years of therapy, encouragement, and support.

This inspiring story is about transforming pain into purpose and using personal struggle to uplift many other families walking the same difficult path.
