CIPET or Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology is an autonomous institute under the department of chemicals and petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology formerly Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) was established in 1968 by Government of India with

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) assistance at Chennai. The main objective of setting up of the institute was to develop manpower in different disciplines of Plastics Engineering & Technology as no similar institute was in existence in the country. During the initial project period between 1968 and 1973, the institute achieved the targets envisaged and was rated as one of the most successful UNDP projects implemented worldwide. Today CIPET is a premier national institution under the aegis of the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India fully devoted to Academic, Technology Support Services and Research & Development (ATR). CIPET operates on hub & spokes model with 28 locations - 5 High Learning Centres, 12 Other Learning Centres, 3 Specialized Centres, 2 R & D Wings, 5 Vocational Training Centre, 1 Petrochemical Data Services spread across the length & breadth of the country catering to the needs of Polymer and allied industries. CIPET stands tall not only as a premier institute in the country but also emerged as a global institution renowned for its research & development process and high quality training in the field of plastics. CIPET has been accredited with ISO 9001:2008 QMS, ISO/IEC - 17025, ISO/IEC - 17020 certification on Design, Development and Conduct of specialized training courses in Plastics Engineering & Technology and rendering technical /consultancy services in design, tooling, plastics processing & testing to the plastics & allied industry. Besides, ATR activities, CIPET also plays pivotal role in developing employment opportunities especially for youth, self-employment and entrepreneur development though various skill development training programs. Headquartered in Chennai, CIPET has centres at Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Aurangabad, Baddi, Balasore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Hajipur, Haldia, Imphal, Jaipur, Kochi, Lucknow, Madurai, Murthal, Mysore, Raipur, Valsad and Vijayawada. Opening for Production Supervisor (Injection Moulding and Fabricated Fittings)
Location: - Dammam, Saudi Arabia
Salary: - Based on Interview and Experience

Job Profile:
• Report to plant manager
• Receiving production orders from the sales department
• Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover required production
• Schedule shift according to production needs, monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
• Verifying and testing received raw materials on regular basis.
• Plan and organize production, mould/die change schedule & Re-negotiate as necessary to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
• Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including maintenance, procurement, distribution, and management.
• Overseeing production processes, control wastage, reworks & downtime to meet production target & timely dispatches.
• Identify the root causes of problems and to solve it by Root cause analysis.
• Involvement in implementation of special job assign by the management.
• To make, standard operating procedure, work instruction & required formats for factory.
• Supervising all production activities, guiding, and instructing technicians to complete required tasks.
• Looking after maintenance activities related to plant equipment
• Looking after the safety of all staff during manufacturing process
• Coordinating with the quality controller concerning testing of raw material and finished products
• Coordinating with the storekeeper concerning storing handling and delivery of raw material and finished products.
• Coordinating with procurement manager conserving the required raw materials and their specifications.
• Coordinating with operations & technical manager for export and special orders requirements.
• Plan the preventive maintenance of machines & moulds.
• Manage all production activities, guiding and instructing supervisors to complete required tasks.
• Identify training needs of operators, Supervisors and Review, evaluate the performance.

Technical Qualification and Experience:

• Diploma/Degree in Plastics Engineering or Relevant
• Required Experience: - Minimum 4-5 years in production of plastics by Injection Moulding. Experiences in UPVC Pipes & Fittings are preferred.
• Required Skill/Abilities: - Exposure in Injection Moulding, Knowledge of Plastic raw materials (in particular (PVC) and PVC additives, Knowledge of moulds, mould setting, trouble shooting. Experience in fabricated long radius bends, knowledge of ISO and other local & international standards, knowledge of health and safety standards
• Computer Skills: - MS office – (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook), ERP
• Language Known: - Must know English (Read, Write & Speak)
• Other Skills: - Team working skills, Leadership skill, Documents and data management, Innovation, Troubleshooting, Planning, and organizing, Problem solving, Mathematical and numerical skills,

Maintenance Technician (Electrical)
Location: - Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Job Profile:
• Inspect on a routine basis for electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, and other components to ensure they remain functional and are up to date, as well as to identify any hazards or issues.
• Determine the reasons for any malfunctions of systems or components and create a maintenance or repair plan to solve the problem.
• Repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, equipment, and other components so that they remain at full functioning capacity.
• Test machines with devices such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters to ensure the system remains safe and that components are compatible.
• Review blueprints to understand the placement of wiring or to comprehend the working of the equipment to provide the right service and repairs.
• Provide suggestions on the lifespan of equipment and other electrical components, advising when certain components should be replaced due to potential risks.
• New machine Commissioning
• Keep records of all maintenance and repair work conducted, including a record of any supplies ordered and used.
• Ensure all routine maintenance work is handled on a regular schedule to reduce the risk of larger and more complex issues and to reduce costs.
• Maintain stock for all required spare parts.
• Contact supplier if needed to purchase correct spare parts.
• Be able to arrange Overhaul for machines.


Qualification and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4-6 Years in electrical maintenance (Prefer from Plastic Industries)
• Strong verbal and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance for chiller, air compressor, water pump, PVC pipe bending, PVC socketing machine and all other equipment’s.
• Experience in utility maintenance such as Over head crane, Fan, Lights and other.
