This is a not-for-profit library with nominal charges started with an intention to get children to read at a young age. Our library holds around 800 books at present and aims to build a good catalogue of books especially for young readers. Storytelling workshops and sing-alongs are a necessary ritual in every library. These workshops will be tied in along with our 6month memberships. Other kinds o
f workshops that will be conducted will mainly be based on earth friendly activities. Through this we hope to inculcate in young children a passion towards our very own Mother Earth. The feeling of going green has to come from within and when we instill this thought in our children at a young age they grow up to be natural caretakers of their future world. Trails based on nature
Holistic methods of living
Also, we are actively looking for volunteers who could help in the following ways -
By volunteering their time at the library (either mornings or afternoons)
By enhancing the library's website
By conducting story times and sing-alongs once a week
By aiding in the workshops
