26.10.2026 அன்று தமிழ்நாடு சுகாதார அமைப்புகள் திட்டத்தில் (TNHSP) அலுவலர்களும் பணியாளர்களும் ஊழல் ஒழிப்பு உறுதிமொழி ஏற்றனர்.

உறுதிமொழி

நமது நாட்டின் பொருளாதாரம், அரசியல் மற்றும் சமூக முன்னேற்றத்திற்கு ஊழல் ஒரு முக்கிய தடையாக உள்ளதாக நான் நம்புகிறேன்.

அரசு, குடிமக்கள் மற்றும் தனியார் நிறுவனங்கள் ஆகியவை ஊழலை ஒழிப்பதற்கு ஒருங்கிணைந்து செயல்பட வேண்டும் என நான் நம்புகிறேன்.

நாட்டின் ஒவ்வொரு குடிமகனும் எப்போதும் உயர்ந்த நோக்குடன் விழிப்புணர்வு, நேர்மை மற்றும் கண்ணியம் ஆகியவற்றுடன் ஊழலை ஒழிப்பதில் உறுதுணையாக விளங்க வேண்டும் என்பதை நான் நன்கறிவேன்.

எனவே, நான்

அனைத்துச் செயல்களிலும் நேர்மையையும், சட்ட விதிகளையும் பின்பற்றுவேன் என்றும்;

இலஞ்சம் வாங்கவோ அல்லது கொடுக்கவோ மாட்டேன் என்றும்;

அனைத்துச் செயல்களையும் நேர்மை மற்றும் வெளிப்படைத் தன்மையுடன் செயல்படுத்துவேன் என்றும்;

பொதுமக்களின் நலனுக்காகப் பணியாற்றுவேன் என்றும்;

தனிப்பட்ட நடத்தையில் நேர்மையை வெளிப்படுத்துவதில் ஒரு முன்னுதாரணமாகச் செயல்படுவேன் என்றும்;

ஊழல் தொடர்பான நிகழ்வினை உரிய அதிகார அமைப்பிற்குத் தெரியப்படுத்துவேன் என்றும் உறுதி கூறுகிறேன்.

A stakeholder meeting on “One Health and Climate Change – Way Forward” was held on 23 October 2026 at the Secretariat, Chennai, chaired by Dr. Darez Ahamed, I.A.S., Secretary to Government, Health and Family Welfare Department.

பொதுமக்களுக்கு அடிப்படை உயிர் காக்கும் முதலுதவி பயிற்சி!

விபத்துகள் மற்றும் மருத்துவ அவசரநிலைகளில் உயிர்களைக் காப்பதில், சம்பவ இடத்திலேயே வழங்கப்படும் சரியான முதலுதவியும் அடிப்படை உயிர் காக்கும் நடவடிக்கைகளும் மிகவும் முக்கியமானவை.

இதனைக் கருத்தில் கொண்டு, 2026–27 ஆம் ஆண்டில், தமிழ்நாட்டிலுள்ள அனைத்து மாவட்டங்களிலும் 36 அரசு மருத்துவக் கல்லூரி மருத்துவமனைகள் வாயிலாக 'அடிப்படை உயிர் காக்கும் சிகிச்சை' (BLS) மற்றும் 'காய சிகிச்சை மேலாண்மை' (Trauma Management) குறித்த பயிற்சிகள் வழங்கப்படும்.

இப்பயிற்சி, 8,160 முதலுதவியாளர்களுக்கும் (First Responder Training), பள்ளி, கல்லூரி மாணவர்கள், காவல்துறையினர், நெடுஞ்சாலை ரோந்து பணியாளர்கள், ஆசிரியர்கள் உள்ளிட்ட ஆர்வமுள்ள பொதுமக்களுக்கும் அளிக்கப்படும்.

உயிர் காக்கும் பயிற்சியைப் பெற்று, இன்னொரு உயிரைக் காக்கும் கரமாக நீங்களும் மாறுங்கள்!

𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐦𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞!

On World Trauma Day, 17 October 2026, the Tamil Nadu Accident and Emergency Care Initiative (TAEI) facilitated district-level mass casualty mock drills across Tamil Nadu. The drills were held under the respective District Administrations, with the guidance of the District Collectors.

Teams from Government Medical College Hospitals, Government Hospitals, Emergency Departments, TAEI nodal officers, 108 Emergency Ambulance Services, Police, Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services and the State Disaster Response Force took part, wherever applicable.

The exercises covered:

Incident-site coordination
Rescue and extrication
Triage and casualty tagging
Ambulance mobilisation and patient transportation
Hospital pre-alerts
Casualty reception and Emergency Department surge management

Highlights from across the State:

Villupuram: bus collision drill
Thiruvallur: multi-storey building fire drill, with fire extinguisher training
Virudhunagar: firecracker factory blast drill
Erode (Perundurai): role play by MBBS student volunteers
Sivagangai: mass casualty drill with Code Yellow activation
Tirunelveli: mass casualty drill in the presence of the District Collector
Tiruppur: “Traumora – Trauma 360” drill, World Trauma Day function and awareness rally
Tirupattur: disaster management drill
Kilpauk (Chennai): rally, role play and poster competition
Vellore: World Trauma Day webinar
Cuddalore: ATLS 11th Edition seminar, road safety oath and snakebite awareness for farmers

Every drill is followed by documentation, debriefing and gap analysis, which will help prepare corrective action plans and strengthen future disaster response.

TAEI remains committed to a standardised, protocol-driven and coordinated emergency response system to reduce preventable deaths and complications after trauma.

The Honourable Minister for Health and Family Welfare reviewed the preparedness of the 108 Emergency Ambulance Service and directed all teams to ensure uninterrupted, safe and timely emergency medical response across Tamil Nadu during the 2026 North East Monsoon.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬:

1,353 ambulances operational statewide, with 43 two-wheeler first-response vehicles

All district teams on high alert

24×7 monitoring by a senior officer and a Rain Alert Desk at the Chennai Emergency Response Centre

Joint response in flooded areas with Fire and Rescue Services, Police, Health Department and district administrations

Additional dispatch desks; walkie-talkie communication if networks are disrupted

Diesel reserves to run two generators at Chennai for up to 15 days; backup at Pudukkottai Disaster Recovery Centre

Ambulances to be stationed in safe zones near hospitals, health centres, Fire Stations, Police Stations and Collector Offices

Drivers instructed not to enter floodwater and to avoid parking near trees or power lines

Ambulances to carry full fuel, working lights, wipers, medical supplies, raincoats and two filled oxygen cylinders

Staff retained at the centre to get accommodation, meals and hygiene facilities

The 108 Emergency Ambulance Service is fully prepared to protect lives throughout the monsoon.

Ensure that OP, NCD, IP, Emergency and Delivery services are fully available to the public.
Increase the OP registration counters to two and create ABHA IDs for all patients.
Take steps to increase the number of digital X-Ray units.
Keep the hospital campus clean.

Create ABHA IDs through HMIS 3.0 for all new OP patients.
Reviewed the STEMI and SCRIPT programmes at Casualty.
Doctors were advised to improve CMCHIS procedures.
Under Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam, improve cervical cancer screening. Gynaecologists should perform more colposcopies for VIA-positive patients.
Reviewed the AEBAS biometric attendance of all staff and outsourced workers.
Streamline the vehicle parking.

மாநில பொது ஆய்வுப் பணிக் குழுமத்தின் மண்டல அளவிலான ஆய்வுக் கூட்டம்

திருநெல்வேலி, தென்காசி, தூத்துக்குடி மற்றும் கன்னியாகுமரி ஆகிய நான்கு மாவட்டங்களில் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வரும் சுகாதாரத் துறை சார்ந்த பணிகள் மற்றும் திட்டங்கள் குறித்த மாநில பொது ஆய்வுப் பணிக் குழுமத்தின் மண்டல அளவிலான ஆய்வுக் கூட்டம் இன்று திருநெல்வேலியில் நடைபெற்றது.

இக்கூட்டத்தில் அரசால் செயல்படுத்தப்படும் சுகாதாரத் திட்டங்கள், மருத்துவ சேவைகள், நோய்த் தடுப்பு நடவடிக்கைகள், பணியாளர் மற்றும் மருத்துவக் கட்டமைப்பு ஆகியவை குறித்து ஆய்வு செய்யப்பட்டது.

குறிப்பாக, கர்ப்பிணித் தாய்மார்கள் மற்றும் பச்சிளம் குழந்தைகளுக்கான சிகிச்சைகள், இரத்த வங்கி, உயர் சிறப்பு சிகிச்சைகள், தாய்மாமன் தங்க மோதிரம் திட்டம் ஆகியவை குறித்து விரிவான ஆய்வு மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது.

Strengthening STEMI care across Tamil Nadu

On 13 October 2026, an expert consultation meeting was held in Chennai, as directed by the Secretary to Government, Health and Family Welfare Department, to review and update the Tamil Nadu Heart Attack Management Programme (TNHAMP) SOP of 2019 in line with recent clinical guidelines.

Since 2019, TNHAMP’s Hub-and-Spoke model has expanded to 27 Hub Hospitals and 308 Spoke Hospitals, improving access to thrombolysis, PCI, specialist cardiology support and referral services.

Key focus areas:

Empowering physicians at Spoke Hospitals to start timely thrombolysis for eligible STEMI patients
Updated clinical protocols based on recent ACC guidelines
Clear referral and transfer pathways
Real-time emergency data capture for clinical audit and quality monitoring

Because time is muscle, every minute saved in reperfusion protects the heart and improves survival.

750 படுக்கை வசதிகளுடன் நவீன புற்றுநோய் சிகிச்சை மையமாக உருவாகி வரும் இம்மருத்துவமனை, பொங்கலுக்கு முன்பாகப் பொதுமக்கள் பயன்பாட்டிற்குக் கொண்டுவரப்படும் என மாண்புமிகு அமைச்சர் தெரிவித்தார். எலும்பு மஜ்ஜை மாற்று அறுவை சிகிச்சை மையம், அறுவை சிகிச்சை அரங்குகள் மற்றும் கதிர்வீச்சு சிகிச்சைப் பிரிவுகளையும் பார்வையிட்டு ஆய்வு செய்தனர்.

தரமான புற்றுநோய் சிகிச்சை அனைவருக்கும் கிடைக்க, தமிழ்நாடு தொடர்ந்து முன்னேறுகிறது!
