The TN-RISE Women Startup Council conducted a Trademark Awareness Training Program on 17 August 2026 in hybrid mode, with the participation of TN-RISE women entrepreneurs.

The session was inaugurated by Mr. L. Jagan Kumar, Project Lead, TN-RISE, who warmly welcomed the participants and the resource person, Mr. Venkatesan, and set the context for the session by emphasizing the importance of trademarks in protecting and strengthening a business brand.

The session aimed to enhance entrepreneurs’ understanding of trademark protection and brand value, enabling them to take informed steps towards safeguarding their business identity and building a stronger brand presence.

• Importance and benefits of trademarks
• Protecting brand identity and enhancing brand value
• Trademark registration process
• Government fees and application requirements
• Essential checklist for trademark registration

🌱 TN-RISE at Arya Vysya Intellectual Maanadu 2026

A day filled with conversations, connections and entrepreneurial energy at the Arya Vysya Intellectual Maanadu 2026, where TN-RISE Women Startup Council had the opportunity to showcase its initiatives for women-led enterprises through an exhibition stall.

The stall welcomed 1,000+ visitors, giving us an opportunity to interact with aspiring entrepreneurs, business professionals and ecosystem stakeholders, while creating awareness about the support and opportunities available through TN-RISE.

🤝 Mr. Arun G, Project Manager, and Mr. Ayyappan N, Young Professional, represented TN-RISE at the event, engaging with visitors and introducing them to our initiatives, women entrepreneurs and the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem.

What stood out was the curiosity, enthusiasm and meaningful conversations around women entrepreneurship, market access, business growth and new opportunities.

Grateful to the organisers of Arya Vysya Intellectual Maanadu 2026 for bringing together a vibrant community of entrepreneurs, professionals and changemakers.

A strong entrepreneurial ecosystem is never built by one organization alone; it grows when innovators, institutions, mentors, and enablers come together with a shared purpose.

On 4 August 2026, the TN-RISE had the privilege of convening a Stakeholder Meet that brought together a diverse network of incubation centres, universities, Institutions, industry mentors, service providers, and ecosystem partners from across India.

The event was inaugurated with inspiring keynote addresses by our beloved CEO, Tmt. SUBBULAXMI V R, I.A.S., and Ms. Vanitha Venugopal, CEO, Tamil Nadu Technology Hub (iTNT). Their vision reinforced the importance of building a collaborative, inclusive, and future-ready innovation ecosystem that empowers women entrepreneurs to scale with confidence.

What made the day truly meaningful was not just the discussions, but the connections that were formed, the ideas that were exchanged, and the collective commitment to strengthening the women entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Every conversation opened new possibilities. Every introduction laid the foundation for future collaborations. A heartfelt thank you to all our distinguished stakeholders for your time, insights, and willingness to partner with us. We look forward to transforming these conversations into meaningful action and lasting impact.

🚀 Empowering Women Entrepreneurs with AI for Business Growth!

TN RISE Women Start-up Council successfully conducted an engaging online workshop on "𝗔𝗜 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 – 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀" in collaboration with FICCI FLO CHENNAI on 1st August 2026.

The session was led by Ms. Sathiya Francis, who shared practical insights on leveraging Artificial Intelligence and digital tools to help entrepreneurs:

✨ Accelerate business growth

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from women entrepreneurs, who actively engaged in the session and explored practical AI solutions to scale and strengthen their businesses.

TN - RISE Women Startup Council was proud to participate as an Ecosystem Partner at Tamil Nadu's first-ever Startup hashtag , hosted at Crescent Innovation and Incubation Council (CIIC) — an evening that brought together founders, incubators, investors, and ecosystem enablers for a vibrant exchange of ideas shaping the state's startup journey. 🚀

Our Project Leads, Mr. Jagan Kumar and Mr. Praveen Rajan, had an insightful discussion with Hon'ble Thiru P. MathanRaja MSME, Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of Tamil Nadu, on strengthening the MSME and startup ecosystem across Tamil Nadu.
