Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam, the Missile Man of India, was born on October 15th, 1931 in Tamil Nadu and the day is also celebrated as World Students Day, every year.👨‍🎓

He was a dedicated teacher and his love for students was endless🤩. He famously said that teachers are the builders of society and that society can be built only when the students are made proficient in their subjects.🌟

On this day, let us all remember him and pay our respects 🙏 to the man that enlightened us with all his great teachings.

The victors who have triumphed over cancer gather every year we from the trust feel privileged and happy to host a celebration for them every year. This event is like “Diwali ” to us as it brings tons of happiness. The affected is happy to have conquered the disease, family & friends are happy that their loved one has retained life and it is sans cancer & the care providers are happy that their efforts have borne fruits. And that world is happy that is there is life after cancer. The fact that cancer can be triumphed over is best learnt on this day & that there are so many to cheer this victory is also evident on this day.

The celebration in Chennai is on 28th Aug 22 at hotel Radha regent , Koyembedu Chennai & is always a grand event. Cultural programs entertain, prominent citizens from the city grace the occasion and donors queue up to gift the victors in a huge way. The highlight is of course the “ lamp lighting ceremony ” in which 100 plus victors light lamps which symbolizes their rebirth after cancer.

It is a great pleasure for us, the NSS unit of Easwari Engineering College to be a part of this gracious event.

International Yoga Day has become a popular concept around the globe and so has Yoga itself. Commemorating this annual event on June 21, massive programs and events centered on Yoga are organized in several countries. The awareness about Yoga Day is fast surging among the global community and an increasing number of enthusiasts participating in it

India proposed a draft resolution and 177 member states endorsed it, which brought International Yoga Day into existence on June 21, 2015. Yoga is a holistic wellness system developed and promoted by the ancient Indian sage Patanjali. The practice of Yoga helps in achieving and maintaining a healthy body and happy mind.

for the first time, an alarming statistic told the world that we must act now to stop
child labour.The COVID-19 pandemic has pushed millions on the brink of poverty and child labour is directly linked to it. There are many articles stating the rights for child labour,
