CHAKMA DISTRICT CONGRESS COMMITTEE CONDUCTED CHARGE HANDOVER CEREMONY AT CONGRESS BHAWAN
Kamalanagar, March 27, 2026: The Chakma District Congress Committee (CDCC) successfully organized a "Charge Handover Ceremony" at Congress Bhawan, Kamalanagar-I, Lawngtlai District, Mizoram, marking a significant transition in the district leadership.
The program commenced at 11:30 A.M. under the chairmanship of Dg. Bijok Chakma, General Secretary, Chakma DCC i/c, GAD. The ceremony began with the formal reading of the appointment order, setting the tone for official proceedings.
A key highlight of the event was the formal handing over of charge by the outgoing leadership, symbolizing a smooth and democratic transition of responsibilities to the newly appointed President of the Chakma District Congress Committee.
The program featured a series of speeches and interactions, including a welcome address delivered by Dgb. Niati Chakma, General Secretary, Chakma DCC i/c Finance. A felicitation session was also held to warmly welcome the newly appointed Office Bearers of Chakma DCC and representatives from the MPCC.
Dg. Adikanta Tongchangya, the outgoing President, addressed the gathering, reflecting on his tenure and extending his support to the new leadership. This was followed by speeches from other leaders.
The newly appointed President, Dg. Ramani Chakma, delivered an inspiring speech outlining his vision and commitment to strengthening the organization and serving the people effectively.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dg. Chitra Moni Chakma, General Secretary, Chakma DCC, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, members, and participants for their presence and support.
The ceremony ended on a cordial note with refreshments, fostering unity and camaraderie among party members.
