: BICYCLE DISTRIBUTION TO A POOR & NEEDY GIRL.
Padma Kankabandiwar from Madhumadgu village in Aheri taluka of Gadchiroli district got second merit in the 12th standard examination from Aheri (district Gadchiroli) taluka. Padma's parents are laborers. Therefore, the family earns a living by earning a living. A buffalo tied in the yard, two goats, a hut and mud accumulated in the yard during the monsoon. Even while living in such conditions, Padma could not resist the temptation of education. She goes to work in her spare time after school.
Padma was interviewed by the 'Pratibimb' channel. Padma was praised for her goal set at a young age, her passion for education, and her dream of becoming an officer and becoming a skywalker. While talking to Pratibimb, Padma had said, 'The bicycle I got in fifth grade is now broken, so I have to walk three km to school every day.' A message was made viral on social media on the initiative of 'Pratibimb' to get her a bicycle. Dr. Jayshree Kapse Gawande, the mentor of Pratibimb from Chandrapur and the president of Elgar Pratishthan, Dr. Mundara and all members of Chandrapur Bachao Sangharsh Samiti, Sub D. F. O. Nilesh Gedam from Alapalli, Anganwadi Supervisor Sushila Bhagat, social worker Sarika Urade and Mayur Sethia took notice and provided financial support. With the help of all of them, Padma was gifted a bicycle. On this occasion, Padma came from deep inside and thanked everyone.
