Dr Dharinder Tayal BJP Dr Dharinder Tayal is an Industrialist and an Educationist. He belongs to a family devoted to BJP. Educationally, he holds degrees in Engineering and an M.B.A.

He has served as an elected member of the Panjab University Senate for 12 years, winning the Graduates’ Constituency election successively for 3 terms. Additionally, he has held positions on the Panjab University Syndicate, Board of Finance, and various other bodies during this tenure. His expertise in both education and industry led to his nomination as a member of the Board of Governors of Punja

His father, Sh Hit Abhilashi, former Excise & Taxation minister of Punjab, was President of Punjab BJP and sacrificed his life for Hindu-Sikh unity during the dark days of terrorism. His Mother, Smt Shanta Hitabhilashi was 21st Century’s first Mayor of Chandigarh. from X.L.R.I, Jamshedpur, one of India’s premier management institutions. Furthermore, he earned his Ph.D. in Turnaround Management from Panjab University. In addition to his academic and political pursuits, he is creatively inclined, with several Indian and US patent applications pending in his name.
